1, the electrical characteristics of the moving head computer lights and circuit design

The vast majority of the former world-wide professional 1200W moving head computer lights using rare gas discharge lamp light source. The start and stability of the gas discharge bubble depends on the design of the circuit type, power supply, ballast and other electrical components of the choice. Rare gas discharge bubble start, generally do not need to stabilize the time, in order to ensure stabilization, in the whole AC cycle, the circuit to maintain the voltage and the instantaneous voltage of the bulb between the difference should be sufficiently large.

Light source of the start, stability, extinguish, restart, should be based on the characteristics of the light source requirements for the design of the circuit. Rare gas discharge bulb start-up voltage is very high, requiring the use of transformers, starting devices, half **** vibration circuit, etc., to improve the instantaneous start-up voltage. The stability of the light source after starting depends on the matching of ballast and circuit parameters. The basic function of the ballast is to prevent the current out of control and make the light source work under its normal electrical characteristics. At present, manufacturers usually use two kinds of ballasts, an inductive rectifier, an electronic rectifier. Inductive rectifier has the advantage of good stability, the disadvantage of heavy, the strength of the lamp body, handling, loading and unloading have high requirements; electronic rectifier is essentially a power conversion circuit, the input power supply current frequency, waveform and amplitude of the change. Its advantages are light weight, easy to load and unload, handling; disadvantages are high structural design requirements, high maintenance costs.

Restart of the light source, in the conventional circuit design, due to gas discharge bubbles work at high temperatures, so that the saturated gas within the bubble to form a vapor pressure resistance, the light source to be immediately re-triggered is difficult to achieve, it must be made to reduce the pressure of the gas within the lamp to the cold state value, in order to trigger the restart. At present, international and domestic manufacturers basically use conventional circuit design.

2, the program control section

Currently, international and domestic computer lights generally use DMX data format to write the program file. DMX512 principle: DMX data stream speed is 250K, that is, each BIT for the standard 4 microseconds. DMX data format is divided into the following parts: 1) IDLE (idle) or NODMXsituation (situation): When there is no DMX packet output, it will be a high level signal; 2) BREAK: The start of a DMX packet is a forecast {header} with a low level output of 88 microseconds; 3) MARKAFTERBREAK (MAB): The MAB is a BREAK followed by an 8-microsecond high level or 2 pulses; 4) STARTCODE (SC) STARTCODE: SC is the channel data at the beginning of the data stream, which has the same format as the channel data, generally 11 pulses or 44 microseconds; 5) MARKTIMEBETWEENFRAMES (MTBF): MTBF can be 0-1 seconds, less than 1 second, before each channel start bit can be in order to have the MTBF, a high level; 6) CHANNELDATA (CD): the channel data is in the SC after the logical format of 1-512 or less than 512; 7) MARKTIMEBETWEENPACKETS (MTBP): send a high level after the valid data has been sent.
