What was the most touching moment of this year's Special Olympics?

In my opinion, the most touching moment of the Special Olympics took place in the functional activities, the so-called Special Olympics functional activities program for more than 8 years of age, IQ below 30 people with severe intellectual disabilities and organized, the Special Olympics with tumbling, lifting the ball, kicking the ball, pushing the ball, wheelchair implementation, rehabilitation walking, two-legged long jump, golf short putt introduction and ten-pin bowling and other nine performances, which is the functional activities of the first time in Asia. This was the first time that the Function Event was held in Asia. These activities may seem simple to the average person, but for Special Olympics athletes it's a "challenge"

This is a scene from the Oct. 4 Special Olympics site:

A huge banner reading "You and I Participate as Equals, Share the Happiness of Special Olympics" hangs in Jing'an. A huge banner hung in the Jing'an Stadium, and Special Olympics athlete Yang Yansheng, No. 115, slowly moved from her wheelchair to the competition mat with the help of four volunteers. Then, with the assistance of two volunteers, Yang Yansheng, who weighs more than 160 pounds, struggled to perform continuous tumbling on the mat. This is the first program of the 2007 Special Olympics - the functional performance program of the competition site.

"One, two, three ...... cheer", along with the rhythmic applause and cheers of the audience in the field, Yang Yansheng rolled forward, one after another, and when he stood up, he faced the audience shouted:" Bravely try for victory!" In an instant, everyone in the stadium was infected by his emotions, and the applause lasted forever.

Tumbling and standing long jump are undoubtedly challenges for Yang Yansheng and other people with intellectual disabilities who are not able to participate in this year's official Special Olympics program. Yang Yansheng had been practicing at home for more than three months for today's competition, and now he finally showed his ability of rehabilitation training, he smiled happily! Then, he let his throat sing "Olive Tree", "Friends" and other popular songs, the audience of nearly a thousand people applauded.

"Let me do it myself!" No. 22 Special Olympics athlete Su Su was sweating profusely, but he still refused the help of the volunteers around him, and struggled to perform the tumbling on the mat. "No. 22, good job!" The audience can't help but cheer him on. Standing up after completing the tumble, Su raised his right hand high in the air and waved to the audience.......

When Special Olympics athlete Xu Guoxuan, No. 21, performed a two-legged standing long jump, the entire audience issued a "you can, I can," cheering him on with all his might. He jumped with all his strength and succeeded! After the competition, his face was covered with a big smile.

At the end of the competition, every athlete was a champion, and everyone received a medal symbolizing courage and fighting spirit, showing confidence and style.
