Jujube in my hometown

My hometown is the eastern Henan plain, where the plain is vast, villages are densely covered and small pieces of jujube trees can be seen everywhere.

There is a big jujube tree in front of my house. It is said that my grandfather planted it himself. Jujube trees grow slowly and the wood is strong. They are often used as chopping boards, stools, etc. And it won't wear out after many years.

When summer comes, the jujube trees at the door begin to sprout, and the bare branches are covered with green spots, which grow secretly and look the same every day. In less than a month, the bare jujube branches turned green. Jujube leaves grow with jujube flowers.

Jujube flowers give off an attractive fragrance, which leads bees to fly around jujube trees and buzz non-stop. With the sunshine in summer getting stronger every day, the leaves of jujube trees are getting bigger and bigger, and the whole jujube tree is green. Standing in front of the door like a big umbrella.

Mother put the bed under the jujube tree. We played in the bed during the day and floated under the jujube tree with a smile. We sleep under jujube trees at night, and there is no dew at night. The summer breeze blows gently, refreshing and accompanying us through every night.

Time flies, the jujube flowers on the tree grow into small dates, green and green, and get bigger every day. In autumn, jujube gradually turns red. Hit one with a stick, which is crisp and sweet.

The autumn wind started, and the weather became cold. Jujube on the tree hung on the branches like a small red light bulb. When it was hit with a stick, it crashed all over the floor. Mother gave some red dates to her neighbors, and the rest were made into jujube buns. Jujube buns taste soft and sweet, and it's hard to forget today. Jujube trees in my hometown are unforgettable memories. It will be with me for the rest of my life.
