The kindergarten was designed from the very beginning with the program of green building design, considering the whole from the perspectives of sustainability and naturalness. We implemented such a positioning into the landscape design and interior design during the project promotion process, and also wanted to reflect the concept of sustainable utilization of resources and environmental integration of ecology from the children's perspective.
The whole project design includes outdoor landscape and interior design, the interaction between indoor and outdoor as well as the complementary functions are what we need to consider in the whole picture, for example, we make the kitchen, children's kitchen, outdoor planting area and sharing area into a group, so that the children can have a better understanding of food education. In addition, we will wind and rain playground and outdoor physical development area combined together, so that children regardless of sunshine and rain can be normal use of the playground, but also according to the actual weather conditions, to make a reasonable choice .....
They are connected but function separately.
The front plaza of the main entrance of the campus, which we define as a service plaza, includes a waiting area for parents to pick up and drop off, a school bus pick-up and drop-off area, a motorized vehicle parking area, a non-motorized vehicle parking area, a wind and rain corridor, and a campus culture display area. The outfield is consistent with the form of the building exterior in its formal treatment, mostly partitioned in geometric shapes, with circular mushroom pavilions as nodes to embellish the front plaza.

Due to the "E"-shaped structure of the building, the whole field has two semi-enclosed areas, which are defined as the physical development area and the fun climbing area, and the area with a better view is used as a multi-functional court, which also meets the function of flag-raising. The area at the back of the building is weakly lighted, and we assigned it to the planting area. The fire fighting ring channel is connected to the space in the form of a transportation corridor.
Inside the campus, we firstly positioned the rainwater collection point of the building, and at the same time overlapped the function of the children's water area by setting up pools and ecological gutters, so as to satisfy the function of the green building and at the same time introduce the nature education into it.

Entering the interior, which is the morning examination hall, we wanted to bring in the rainbow layers, so the shape of the ceiling was processed in arches and slices to soften the top surface and make it appear more textured. The walls are treated with holes to link the stairwell and the hall, and the ball pool and picture books are added to create a familiar scene for children and to reduce the unfamiliarity of children's first time in school.
The hall
For the first floor of the classroom for younger children, the walkway is designed to make the activity room and the background wall of the classroom into the shape of a "house", so that the classroom has a sense of affinity. The interior of the activity room is separated from the classroom by the use of lamps, and the lamps in the sleeping area are cloud lamps, hoping to calm the children's restlessness when they sleep.
The stormwater playground is a play area that also complements the outdoor function, but as a node from the outdoors to the indoors, we wanted it to have the feeling of a second hall, so we made a strictly symmetrical "house" shape for the original structure of the space. The center wall is presented in the form of an image wall to meet the reception needs.
The wind and rain playground
The picture book room is located in the lobby area, and we wanted to create the feeling of reading under the white clouds, and at the same time, each "room" is a private reading area, which is private and connected, so that children can walk freely through it, and they can also read in it. Inside, children can walk freely, talk with different rooms, look up to the sky through the skylight, and be the protagonist on the small stage.
Painting the room
The children's kitchen divides the space into different areas: the bar experience area, the operation area, the dining area, and the whole scene creates the atmosphere of a bazaar, combining the shopping area and the operation area, so that children can get into the role of the setting faster.

The space of the Chinese learning room is decorated with wooden grills to make it more calm, and we hope that children can be quiet in this area to experience the traditional Chinese etiquette.
Referring to the classroom
We designed the art and ceramics in one large space, where they are connected and distinct from each other. The special walls allow the children to display their work. Art and ceramics are rustic in nature, so we chose earthy colors for the overall palette.
The pottery room
Multi-functional room and dance room combined, can be opened or closed, the first to meet the needs of the school's large volume of use, so the space treatment is more in the solution to the problem of space, the top surface of the appropriate to do some rounded corners, so that the space is a little lively.
