Marx once said: If you want to enjoy art, you must be an artistically cultivated person. ? Dance is an art that mainly dynamically expresses social life and thoughts and feelings with rhythmic bodies. Although it is a specific representation of the human body, it often expresses an abstract image at the same time. As the saying goes, dance is an emotional art that can only be understood, not expressed. Therefore, it is impossible to have a certain artistic appreciation. Dance education should enable the educated to understand the characteristics of dance art, understand the different performance styles and forms of dance art, attract the educated through simple dance movements, and make them participate in dance learning and performance.

According to the research of art historians, the earliest art produced by mankind is dance. Dance originated from the needs of labor practice and other various life practices in human beings' survival and development. If we go into more detail, dance originated from the labor production, fitness and combat training and other activities of ancient humans in their survival and development. Simulation reproduction, as well as totem worship, religious sacrificial activities and the need to express one's own emotions and thoughts. Combined with poetry and music, it is one of the earliest art forms in human history. Human beings produce happiness in their labor practices of survival and development and in various other life practices, which must be vented in a certain way, thus creating dance. It can be seen that happiness is a very important emotional element in dance.

So, what is the status and role of dance in life?

1. The role of self-entertainment dance in emotional communication and promoting unity

Self-entertainment dance activities play a role in communicating emotions and promoting unity in people's lives. Social dance in ancient Chinese society has a long history, but it gradually disappeared later. During this period, the increasingly rigid feudal consciousness mainly played a shackles role. But among the people, the role of dance in promoting friendship and unity has not disappeared. Of course, everything is relative, and some self-entertainment dances are of a performance nature, such as Northeastern Yangko, Shandong Yangko, flower drum lanterns, dragon dances, lion dances in the festival square, etc., which are very interesting to the onlookers. It can all be said to be performative. On the stage in our country, there are many performative dance works from self-entertainment dance, but they are rearranged, arranged, processed, improved and created by choreographers with themes and characters, and are conveyed through the performances of actors. To the audience to inspire, enlighten and educate.

Obviously, whether it is self-entertainment dance or performance dance, as long as it is guided correctly, it can enrich the cultural life of the masses and have a positive promotion effect.

?Happiness? should always run through dance education for the following three reasons.

1. Happy dance meets people’s spiritual needs. What people are looking for in dance is happiness. Happy dance has a broad mass base and is easily accepted by everyone. People's comprehensive abilities such as creation, imagination, expression and artistic accomplishment can be improved through dance.

2. Popularizing dance and health concepts is a new concept in current dance education. Dance is an effective means of aesthetic education, which fully cultivates the elegant sentiments of dance students. ?Simple mind, well-developed limbs? This sentence is inappropriate to apply to dancers, because every expression of body language needs to be expressed with the heart and brain, otherwise it will not be vivid. Therefore, popularizing dance education will also be helpful to improve the intelligence of dance students. Dance can not only improve artistic accomplishment, but also promote health, so it is favored by more and more people.

3. Happy dance also helps to build a harmonious society. Our country has many ethnic groups, and the dances of different ethnic groups have their own characteristics. People of all ethnic groups can communicate with each other and strengthen unity through dance activities.

We must integrate the concept of happy dance into dance education.

1. Start from the root and establish the creative concept of happy dance. In this regard, Western modern dance consciousness has certain reference significance for our dance creation, and we should reasonably absorb this creative method. Emphasize the subject spirit of dance creation and the subjective role of the choreographer, pay attention to expressing spiritual feelings, break the traditional program norms and time and space relationships, follow the natural laws of human body movement, etc., carefully explore and continuously innovate in practice. Modern consciousness is not an empty, fashionable word in dance creation. It is the highest consciousness of people reflected in the latest stage of social development. This modern consciousness should be the dancer’s latest understanding of social and historical development, political and economic models, relationships between various people, and national spirit gained by observing today’s society from the highest level of the historical ladder.

2. The existence and development of dance art in any era are restricted by the socio-economic foundation. The rapid development of our country’s national economy has laid the economic foundation for happy dance. The broad masses of the people have solved the problem of food and clothing, achieved the goal of basically being well-off, and began to pursue a more colorful material and cultural life. It is to meet this need that Happy Dance came into being. At the same time, happy dance makes the people happy, relaxes their body and mind in sports and entertainment, and has more energy to study and work, which in turn can promote the continuous development and progress of society and form a virtuous circle.
