Kind reminder: I hope that every baby has developed their own strategy before traveling. Because of the different time, different travel routes, different levels of food and beverage consumption, the travel routes and consumption in my travelogue can only be used as a reference ~
: Essential apps
1. Accommodation: Crocodile Dragon (I'm a loyal customer of the Crocodile Dragon for many years), Flying Pigs, Where to go and Walking Eagles. These apps can book hotels (Airbnb is mainly B&Bs, which I didn't consider). Look at the reviews and prices on the major platforms and combine them to choose the right hotel. Hymns suggests looking at the web version of the reviews because you can see the bad reviews, and the mobile version is all good reviews, so you can get a better gauge of whether a hotel is worth staying at.
2. Transportation: Google Maps. One app does a perfectly good job of how to get there, what bus to take, how to transfer, and how long it takes. No need to download other useless apps.
3. Eat & Drink: Dianping. You can go to restaurants with many positive reviews, from Michelin to night market roadside stalls. However, there are some inaccurate locations that can be used with Google Maps.
4. Translation: Google Translate. Actually, if you can communicate in English, I don't think it's necessary to waste time translating, and translation is not allowed. We communicated in English almost the whole time. Thai people speak English quite well. Drivers, shopkeepers, various staff almost all speak English (we even spoke to a 10 year old Thai girl in simple English while we were on the boat, which I was very impressed by).
5. Shopping: daily membership. This app is only valid from Shanghai and Beijing. After these two places are enrolled, there will be duty-free stores, real-time prices of the app, 5.5% off coupons from a certain treasure or your own WeChat to register for the app. hymns note that a person can only bring one cigarette into Thailand and two cigarettes into China.
Total consumption
Number of people 2 people
The airfare round-trip ticket 1144 yuan / person.
Accommodation 290 * 5 or so (including tax)
Bangkok one-day tour 278 yuan / person
Pattaya half-day tour 149 yuan / person
Insurance 95 yuan / person
Visa-on-arrival transportation, food and drink, tips, convenience stores, all kinds of purchases of 10,000 baht or so / person.
Total cost (not counting duty-free stores) about 4400 yuan / person.
: Note
1. If the Thai metro bus card is card, remember to have the route side down, otherwise it will not be recognized (I have done this silly thing).
2. In the Grand Palace, you can not wear strapless vest (half-sleeve is fine), the skirt should be above the knee, pants should be very tight, not too transparent. Otherwise you can 30 baht to rent next to the apron (actually quite nice, normal wear then there will be people to rent.)
3. The hotel boy carry luggage to give you a tip, the restaurant to eat also want to give you a tip, usually 20-40 baht. You can't give coins. It's a behavior that identifies the other person as begging. Remember!
4. Take a taxi to find a regular taxi. Get in the car and press the meter and ask? You can also ask the hotel front desk to call a taxi.
5. Change baht at the bank in advance. You can also change it locally, but it is said that there is a handling fee for each transaction. Bring at least 5,000 RMB in cash per person in case you are randomly checked.
6. Thai time is one hour behind Beijing time.
7. buy a phone card (299 baht happy card) in advance. 23 dollars for seven days, especially durable! 7 days even half of the video is not used!
010-10.10 Suvarnabhumi Airport is a red-eye flight, because I bought a special ticket. Didn't arrive at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport until 2pm late at night.
I thought the visa on arrival airport would take two to three hours (as previously stated online). Maybe we went in low season and all the formalities were done in an hour. Departure card must be properly stored, accommodation reception and your final departure need to take into account the early morning taxi may not be very safe, we both shopped at the airport convenience store, ate noodles, loaded the phone card. Waiting for the first airport express line (all public **** transportation at 6:00 - 24:00). It is worth noting that Thai airports are cold as hell
I have observed that Thais use more Samsung phones, and also local phones seriously (local internet is real). Guess it's just like our telecom's skype phones. Looking out on the airport express line, the big Chinese VIVO and OPPO billboards are very visible, to capture the foreign market. It's worth mentioning that VIVO's ads have captured all the subway stations in Bangkok and invited local Thai stars to shoot posters. It seems that the national brand is just around the corner.
How much is a subway ticket to which station in Thailand is marked on the next road map, which is very convenient to look at. And because there are a lot of Chinese people coming to Thailand, there are also a lot of instructions in Chinese.
The transportation map of Thailand is very simple. If just traveling, look at the map on the four lines is almost enough (although in fact Bangkok has nearly 10 subway lines): light green pigment Khunyat LRT line, dark green Shillong LRT line, blue subway line, the above map does not show the airport line. Overall, the cost of public **** transportation is quite high.
Sao Ono Hotel
D1: Departure
We booked the hotel at the intersection of the LRT and the MRT, so it was in a very nice way across the street from the terminal21 shopping center. Went back and slept all morning because of the red-eye flight~ ~ ~
The breakfast stand across from the hotel was delicious. It is a folk food. Many local office workers buy it here too. Thai rice is very soft.
Terminal 21 Mall At noon, we went to Terminal 21 Mall for dinner. There is not much to walk around in the mall, but it is quite unique. Each floor is an ethnic style.

Terminal 21 Mall
We went straight to the 5th floor for dinner, so cheap that we literally thought we were eating cheap and thought we were eating fake food and drinking fake drinks. The most expensive juice was 8 dollars. I really want to move back home.
Here's a wallop for this coconut ice cream! It's always delicious. Price is like 28 baht.
Siam Central Bangkok's shopping districts are basically all together. Take the bus*** and get off at Siam station. Anyway, we only visited two malls and the people were wasted. Mall of Thailand is the largest shopping center in Southeast Asia. What's worth buying depends on what you need. You can check online before you go, so I won't explain here.
Jianxing Restaurant (Central Embassy Store)
In the evening, I went to the legendary Jianxing Restaurant, the owner is Chinese, so most of the diners are from China and South Korea, and I don't know if Thai locals will come here. This restaurant is well known on the internet and is a Chinese favorite. There are many branches in Bangkok. We went to the one near Siam Square but the address labeled online was wrong. We asked a lot of people who had photos of his store's plaque and finally found the store. His Mango Sticky Rice is more expensive than the ones outside, but it's better than the ones outside. The crab curry is a must.
D2: Siam Shopping District
We signed up for a day trip at Flying Pig and a driver will pick you up in the morning and evening, but be careful about the location of the hotel you stay at. If you're staying in the urban/rural part of Terrace City, you won't get picked up. Above is a map of Bangkok's one city division for your reference.
Mae Kung Railway MarketLeave at 6am and go to the Mae Kung Railway Market first. It's not part of Bangkok anymore, so it's far away. You can take a car to sleep. The railroad market is very mixed and cheap. You can buy all kinds of fruits here, such as mangosteen, durian, and serpentine fruit. There are also small mangosteen-like flavored fruits called wood nuts and a potato-like fruit called dragon fruit. If you're not sure if you like it, ask the vendor if you can try one first.
The Amtrak Market has seven trains passing through it every day, yes! That's where the crowds are. Go through! Fire! Cars! The train came at 8:30, and at 8:10, we were still in this crowded place. It wasn't until 8:20 that the stallholders began to collect their tents in an orderly fashion. The train was moving very slowly, but it almost passed us by. People on the train and people off the train were taking pictures. All in all, if you want to experience Thai kitsch culture, this place is worth a visit.
Kung Railway Fruit Market
The little Thai pineapples were cute and sweet, but a little cloyingly sweet and not as tart as the big ones.
The price of durian at the Kung railroad market is self-referential. But you can't take it back to the hotel and refrigerate it or it will taste better. Hymns Thailand does not allow heavy flavored fruits such as durian to be taken back to the hotel or bus or you could face a 5,000 baht fine. I really saw a tourist from China with durian and the staff told her to take it away a million times. Really. Can you understand the local customs and regulations before you travel?
Tannenshado Floating Market, then take a bus to tannenshado floating market. You really have to haggle if you want to buy something and most of them speak Chinese. Interestingly, the back row boatman kept saying: tip, tip. We listened for a long time to understand ~
In the afternoon, the Grand Palace went to the Grand Palace. I thought my 9-point pants were okay, but I didn't expect 10. So I made the mistake of renting a very nice apron and felt pretty ~ 30 baht is a very nice price. The tour guide for us was a 62 year old auntie with a very cheerful personality! Last October, the King of Thailand (a constitutional monarchy) passed away, but has not been cremated, and the national mourning lasted for a year, so black and white mourning bands can be seen in the Grand Palace, including on the streets. Old aunts said the last time the queue to pay homage to the king's body up to 10 hours, enough to witness the Thai people's devotion to the king and faith in their country.
The Grand Palace
MK Thai Hot Pot (Siam Square Branch)
The Four Faces Buddha is in a small place opposite Central World. You can visit it in 5 minutes. You can worship it clockwise for health and peace, marriage happiness, career success and prosperity. In the evening, I had MK Hotpot at the mall, which was highly praised by the public. But honestly, except for the novelty of independent electronic ordering, the taste is really average, prefer Chongqing hot pot.
D3: Tannen + Grand Palace + Four Faces Buddha
Thailand Ming Xin Service Apartment Hotel hotel hotel is really too good value. Hotels in Pattaya, after tax can only be converted into RMB. Cabinets, knives, forks, plates, microwave, refrigerator, safe, dresser, window balcony, downstairs gym, swimming pool. Couldn't be more awesome!
Ming Xin Serviced Apartment Hotel come here in the morning or at night to swim, the water temperature is suitable, not sunshine, very pleasant.
Pattaya, the non-nooch tropical garden, is known for its sex capital. People who come here to see the siren show, but we just fireworks are different, did not go to see the various siren shows. Check out the baby elephant, it will love Cho. the owner of Nongnooch Tropical Gardens is Chinese, and the second word for nongnooch Tropical Gardens is named after his Thai wife. A large banner in the park reads in Chinese: Welcome visitors from China and other countries!
The nongnooch Tropical Garden features two main types of performances: a folkloric show and an elephant show. The LED screen above the stage of the folkloric show is all in Chinese, which really gives face to Chinese tourists. The elephant show is very interesting, but it stinks.
Square Fish Market/Square Town Water Town
This is the legendary Dulala Water Market, made famous by the filming of the movie Dulala's Promotion. Most people who come here are from China. You can buy all kinds of handicrafts, snacks and specialties here.
In the evening, we went to the night market to buy seafood for 299 baht and brought it straight back to the hotel. We gave ourselves a cup of juice and one or two other snacks, two girls eat until very strong. Never worry about not getting enough to eat when you go to Thailand, just worry about not having a big enough stomach.
D4: Pattaya
From Pattaya to Koh Samui is not very convenient. Before doing an online guide said there is a minibus to Ban Pui pier, 300 baht per person. But by talking to the front desk of the hotel, they could only book a cab for us for 1300 baht. We didn't find a place where we could take our own bus and minibus, so we just took a taxi. The drive to Banpei Pier was about 1 hour (Thai drivers are not covered for speed . Is it really unlimited?) When we got to Ban Pui Pier, the driver first took us to a place where the overpriced boat ride was 800 baht for a single person on a speedboat. But since we strategized ahead and had a rough price in mind, we didn't fall for it. After much communication, the driver finally took us to another regular pier. It costs 350 baht to go there by speedboat and 100 baht by big boat (both are the price of a round trip ticket. Remember to tell them one way if you only need one way). When you arrive at that island, you have to take two public **** cars to find our hotel. Since there were no other tourists, we were chartered and it was more expensive. 250 baht per kilometer. If someone can carpool, it's only 50 baht per person.
When you arrive at the hotel, you will feel better. When you go out, you can see the pool from your room, including the breakfast buffet for two. The water in the pool was clean and just the right temperature for our afternoon swim.
Breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast was a western buffet. Looking out to the ocean and beach. It was really beautiful. The only beautiful thing about Zanzibar is that there are a lot of flies on the island and you have to catch them when you eat outdoors.

Various kinds of fried rice noodle, pineapple rice are all delicious, with sufficient portion. It is recommended to go to a place after looking at the public review, you can look for favorable. A variety of delicious spell a picture, in fact, there are many things too busy to shoot.
7-11 and boots can really buy anything. I had three colors of this brand of milk: pink, light blue, and dark blue. The pink is a little too greasy and I prefer the latter two. They taste similar, especially the light milk.
I was shocked to see the price of Kao Elegance. I really thought I was seeing Chinese Yuan, but it turned out to be Thai Baht!
Cheap flights and limited luggage at Suvarnabhumi Airport. I couldn't find out online before how much it would cost for overweight. This time, I finally saw the official instructions, and photographed it for your reference. One kilogram of excess weight is 355 baht, which is about 71 RMB. So, those who take cheap flights, be prepared for this.
This week in June was really fun and time was squeezed out. Because there was so much uncertainty, we were always hesitant to play or not. So all the decisions and itinerary were finalized a week in advance, so you can say that it was a trip to say goodbye to.
Getting the best value for money is the ultimate goal of free travel! Stay in hotels if you want, eat all the good food you want, sleep until whatever time you want, do whatever you want, go to his tour guide to show you around the various stores, so cool~
