Synopsis

Ori was once the most popular star in the professional rugby game, but an accident blinded him and forced him to leave his beloved rugby field. From then on, his life was plunged into darkness. He began to give up on himself, his temper became violent, and he was even sent to jail for smashing up someone's car, Ollie felt hopeless. All this doesn't change until he meets Lem, a college teacher who is also disabled and wheelchair-bound.

Lyme tries to convince Ollie to go with him to the Boat Race, an annual rubber raft competition, to inspire all disabled people to face life with courage and to prove that disabled people can be successful. Ollie agrees to Lem's proposal, but on the condition that he doesn't reveal his identity.

So the two men, who share the same illness, hit it off and set off with a rubber raft, helping each other along the way. Lem is Ollie's eyes, and Ollie is Lem's legs. They gradually built up a relationship of trust and mutual dependence on each other in the process of getting along, and Ollie slowly regained his confidence in life during the journey.

After a long journey, the two men finally arrive in Golden, the town where the Boat Race will be held, but to their dismay, the Boat Race does not allow disabled people to participate in the race, which makes them very disappointed. Just then, Soga, the plantation owner, appears and tells them that they can compete as free runners, but that they must practice beforehand in order to be successful. Soga's words rekindle the two men's hopes. Ollie and Lem practiced hard on the river, but unfortunately encountered turbulence, dangerous, the two men finally out of danger after a few struggles, and once again encountered Soga and his two sons, Soga revealed Ollie's true identity, and recounted his own experience as the best rugby player in college. Soga's story led to a lot of realization for Ollie, and he stopped feeling sorry for himself.

In an effort to earn an official spot in the competition, Ori and Lem, with the help of Soga, play an intense rugby match against the organizers of the regatta. And it was agreed beforehand that if Ori and Lem won, then they could enter the rubber raft race. All the people did not believe that two handicapped people could win the race, and this was indeed the case at the beginning of the race, when Oli's side made frequent mistakes. During the course of the game Ollie gradually regains his confidence in rugby and discloses his true identity as a former rugby star. People are excited to learn about this and cheer him on, and finally at the crucial moment, Ollie plays as a professional rugby player and wins the game. Ollie and Lem got to the regatta like they wanted to, and with perfect synchronization finally reached the finish line.

Highlights

The film stars American multi-hyphenate Gregory Hahns, known as the King of Dance. Hahns, who learned to dance as a child, performed on stage with his father and older brother at the age of six, and won the 1992 Tony Award for "Jerry's Last Mess". In addition to his dancing career, he is also a renowned presenter, especially in acting, and he made his film debut in 1981 in the movie "Age of Empires" and has since gone from strength to strength, taking on roles in a number of notable films, including "The Wolfman Is All Around You," "Sky Soldiers," and "The Cotton Club.

And the other main character in this movie, Vincent? Vincent Jonafrio, a famous American actor, has been called an "actor's actor" by the media and movie fans. He has a rare talent for acting, and each of his roles has a unique charm. His performances in "Full Metal Jacket" and "Men in Black" were very well received. It is because Vincent? Yonavrio never gives up on a role that challenges him, so he has been nominated for at least six Emmy Awards in a short span of two years. Vincent D'Onofrio was nominated for at least six Emmy Awards in just two years. In this movie, he has successfully portrayed the character of Ollie, and I believe that his superb acting skills will make the audience applaud him.
