Wang Guangcheng was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, and has been learning to dance since he was a child. Wang Guangcheng was a civilian soldier in the army for six years, after which he took part in a national aerobics competition and won the championship, and from then on embarked on the path of professional fitness dance.
When a fashionable fitness program called Zumba became popular in the U.S., Wang Guangcheng traveled to the U.S. at his own expense to learn how to work out with Zumba's core team. Since Zumba is a form of fitness that evolved from dance, it requires a lot of music. Wang Guangcheng happened to be a fan of the Phoenix Legends, so he wanted to incorporate his favorite music into his workout. Starting in 2010, Wang first brought Phoenix Legend's "The Most Dazzling Ethnic Wind" to a Zumba fitness conference in the U.S. After that, he couldn't get enough of it, adapting 10 Phoenix Legend songs in a row to incorporate hip-hop, flamenco and salsa dance elements.
In March 2015, the State General Administration of Sports launched 12 sets of square fitness gymnastics dance outstanding works, by Wang Guangcheng choreographed square dance "Little Apple" is one of them, Wang Guangcheng coach is also therefore "overnight fame", known as the "square dance Prince! The coach Wang Guangcheng also "overnight fame", known as "Square Dance Little Prince".
