Synopsis
Blueberry Nights is a love story in which a lovelorn woman begins her journey by venting her sadness and loss with the delicious taste of blueberry pie. From the scruffy owner of a café to the rebellious young woman she meets on the way, the young girl who travels around the United States of America by bus with a sense of calmness, surveys the "unbelievable" crowd of pedestrians with a whimsical perspective, and sees not only love, but also herself, in the people who are trapped in love and sinking in love. ......
Blueberry Nights is Wong Kar-wai's first English-language film, with a cast that includes Jude Law, Norah Jones, Rachel Weisz, Natalie Bowman and David Strickland. The movie depicts an emotionally disturbed young woman (Jones) who tries to find the meaning of life and love as she travels across the United States and meets different characters and witnesses their encounters. Blueberry Nights takes place across the United States, including New York, Memphis, Las Vegas, etc. Wong said, "I feel like it's a vacation movie, like following a first-class orchestra on tour."
