Memories related to growing up
--My hometown Dalian
Memories are often ambushed in the cityscape, and the landscape was once like a long cloth, unfolding in sequence in the dimly lit night, with a lot of familiar faces going back and forth, shaking up some of the crystalline past, as if the blackfish spine exposed on the surface of the sea still had vague markings. As if the surface of the sea reveals the spine of a black fish, on which there are still vague markings. Then the tide rose, and in a trance the room smelled of the sea.
The markings are some place names, each city will have its own unique place names, behind these place names, hidden some secrets of growth. In fact, the sea doesn't need to be mentioned over and over again, it has dissolved into the blood of every Dalianese and keeps in line with their breath.
I. Terigou
Terigou is located at the eastern end of Dalian, and is pronounced as "prickly ditch" in the mouths of the locals. To the north is the oil dock, which used to be a gathering place for dock porters. I grew up here with streetcars that were hard to see in other cities. The soothing and rhythmic sound of the trams, the loud voices of the longshoremen, and the whistles of the ships coming into port, all mixed together, accompanied me as a young boy, like a belligerent hedgehog, wandering aimlessly in the streets. At dusk, my mother's voice calling me home was especially kind.
Like my childhood, life in Dalian then was slow and comfortable, like the calm surface of the sea, with the undercurrent of the waves of the 1970s hidden underwater, which those who were in it had no way of feeling.
In the evening, the dockworkers, tired from a day's labor, talked excitedly about what they had seen during the day and the women they had imagined, almost all of them descended from the Shandong people, who were reckless and bold, who spoke of solidarity, and who liked to talk with their fists and wine, like rough shells growing on the reef. The beads of sweat on their foreheads glistened brightly in the lamps, far more appealing to me than my father's brushes and drawings.
Two, Qingniwa Bridge
It is said that the entire Qingniwa area was cushioned with coal ash, including the current Dalian Railway Station, which was an ocean more than a hundred years ago and is now one of the busiest areas in Dalian.
Take the clanking tram from Siergou and swing all the way to Qingniwa, where the Dalian train station appears in front of you, as if it were an old and close friend. Many locals prefer to call this place "Qingniwa Bridge", should be related to a bridge. Later, I heard the old man say, the bridge is long gone, and once the same sea water, are left on people's lips and yellowed old paper.
The train station is naturally crowded. Victory Plaza in front of the station is a large shopping plaza built with Taiwanese investment, with only a few towers dotting the ground and most of the operations underground, the towers are a bit shaky in the sunlight, and few people can remember what it looked like back then. When the groundbreaking for Victory Square took place, it is said that many shells were dug out of the ground, and the soil was as black as undersea silt, which matched the name of the green mud puddle.
Three, Nanshan Theater
Later I have been living near the Nanshan Theater, and the Dalian Institute of Foreign Languages South Academy a few steps away. Arrogant as the sunshine, the students of the Foreign Language Institute flaunted their youth every day under the eyes of their neighbors without a care in the world. Nanshan Theatre refers to a building of gray and white European-style building, the original used to be a movie theater, and then after several changes, the name from the "Military Division Club" to the "White Swan Dance Hall", to "New Century Bath Center
Nanshan Theater to the west is Shengli Road, all the way to Xinghai Square. On the side of Shengli Road is a very large temple that was once used by the Dalian Peking Opera Troupe as a rehearsal space. I used to lie on my back on a wooden window pane, gently poking through the windowpaper with my drool-stained fingers, and curiously watching through the cracks as a group of men and women dressed in ancient costumes shuffled and danced with water sleeves in the empty hall of carved beams and paintings. To the east is a small Japanese-style houses, now rebuilt, called "Nanshan style street", strengthened the flavor of Japanese architecture, not to mention reminding pedestrians passing by: when the Japanese once ruled Dalian.
Directly north of Zhongshan Square is only ten minutes away from home, next to the bustling Tianjin Street, the commercial center of Dalian. The square is surrounded by European-style buildings, greenery, fountains, pigeons, and music, all of which are matched by big smiles on faces. To the time of the ball game, many people will stand in the square stretching their necks, staring at the square south of the Dalian Hotel upstairs huge display, as if planted in the ground crops, but also as if the fish eagles of the Jiangnan water village, they are waiting for the expected excitement, Dalian soccer rarely let them down.
Four, Black Stone Reef
Legend has it that a star fell into the sea, leaving behind this abrupt forest of black reefs, a legend and scenery are very beautiful place. This place is also a place of higher learning in Dalian, shrewd real estate developers have been using a variety of different shapes of the building, the Black Stone Reef to the west all the way to Lvshun along the way decorated with flowers, green, not wonderful.
And when I was a kid, the songs I knew best were also related to Heishi Reef. A few of us kids lined up and looked at the women bending over the rocks to catch the sea, singing and reciting, "Sunday at Black Rock Reef, the sea is the big woman butt to the sky, a oyster to taste fresh, farting out of the stink of the sky. After reading, they ran away. And childhood, just like those women's screams, was far behind, until it became a few lonely white sails on the distant sea.

The mountains are charming, the seascape is exciting - my hometown Dalian
Unlike other northeasterners, Dalian people seldom admit that they are northeasterners, and when asked, they will always answer with their heads held high: No, I'm not northeasterners, I'm from Dalian. The location of Dalian on the map is easy to find, with the prominent beak of the rooster-like motherland on the map. After the Yuan Dynasty, history books have recorded a small remote fishing village, like a paradise. Until the end of the Qing dynasty, the Japanese army and the Qing army from Korea has been fighting here, captured the original is the Beiyang naval division of Lushunkou, Lushunkou, Dalian's name began to appear frequently in the smoke of the Sino-Japanese War. Before the Japanese could get their asses hot, the Russians had a red eye, and the then Qing Dynasty was busy declaring neutrality and designating the Dalian area as a war zone. After a battle, the little noses (the Dalian people's contemptuous name for the Japanese) drove out the old Maozi (the Dalian people's contemptuous name for the Russians). History records that only eighteen families were left in Lushunkou at that time. Since then, Dalian has been under the shadow of Japanese hiragana and katakana until the end of the war, the list is endless.
Early in the last century, the whole of Shandong had a famine, the simple people instinctively made the right choice of "the road does not work, ride the beam floating in the sea", dragging their families across the sea to Dalian, and as a bridgehead, launched a large-scale migration to the northeast of China, so the vast majority of people in Dalian are the descendants of the Shandong people. The vast majority of Dalian people are descendants of Shandong people. To be irresponsible, I always think that more than a hundred years ago, the elite immigrants have stayed in Dalian, they completely abandoned the traditional agricultural life of plowing at sunrise and resting at sunset, wearing short coats and carrying sacks, and became the first generation of dockworkers, who should belong to the kind of people who are more flexible in their brains. And those whose minds are still stuck on agricultural crops continue to head north, where they find a magical black land in Heilongjiang and continue to dream of digging out gold dolls from the dirt.
The Pacific Ocean moist warm monsoon winds blowing through, everything grows, the girl like a flower guy broader heart, plus the ocean abounds in fish, turtles, shrimp and crabs so a nourishing, the more the people of Dalian hair fall like a proud peacock. Buddha by the gold horse by the saddle, outsiders do not understand the importance of packaging their own, but instead of showing their teeth to joke about Dalian is "cornmeal belly material pants", meaning that the stomach are not full but also to dress themselves neatly. I don't know, poor when it is hard, the will of the blue clouds can not be lost, and so on, we all have a good day, open your eyes, Dalian people wind up organizing a clothing festival, a do is more than ten years, others will not learn from the cat painting tiger, have to comfort themselves: people would have had this tradition.
The blood of the Dalian young man ran to the field to study, the local people ask no questions, directly to what school or enterprise soccer team, arranged on the main position. If you admit that you do not know how to play football, that can be compared to the old days when the bride from the sedan chair, revealing a pair of two feet feet more embarrassing, the other side must still be surprised to mutter a sentence: is the Dalian people? Dalian's soccer is brilliant beyond brilliant, if any year's league champion is not the Dalian team, that must be the biggest news. Not only do they like to play football, Dalian people also like to comment on the ball, the people in front of the stadium every day there are hundreds of people gathered there, saliva flying, spit splash, which team's deployment, which coach's tactical thinking, which player's anecdotes, narrated, informative and rich, and happy soccer journalists from all over the world once the plane was straight to the place, happy to do so. Dalian local men had planned to accompany his girlfriend to the clothing mall, walked there will not be able to move their feet, sharpened their heads into the crowd, even if his girlfriend's willows eyebrows up, almond eyes with frost. Girlfriend is still thinking about the new listing of the skirt, urged to rush, split face is a Dalian words: you Biao ah. The first thing you need to do is to get your hands on a new pair of shoes or boots.
Outside people commented on the Dalian accent, said there is a "sea oyster flavor", sea oyster is the scientific name of the oyster, nourishing Yin Yang good thing. Dalian people themselves also feel some earth, so as far as possible to make the tongue curved some, but the words in the killing value or not down. Dalian people talk about rushing, which people around the world have learned, as if the sashimi in the Japanese food, eat into the mouth with snot and tears set off, the five internal organs and six small circumference of the sky immediately fluent, the world's delicious, nothing more than this. The good fish and chips, but also with soy sauce and good horseradish to add the finishing touch, I think the Dalian accent is that a small dish of horseradish.
Listening to the Dalian accent, it is natural to accept the Dalian people's style of doing things: generous and bold, never dragged, and dead face. In the past few years, more and more outsiders have settled in Dalian, and newspapers have reported that outsiders have bought up 40% of the newly developed houses and are constantly calling out to their friends, like fish that like to live in groups. Some Dalian people complained indignantly: How come all the money in Dalian is earned by outsiders? But to arrange a job for him to earn money, such as scrubbing baths and sweeping the streets, he was laid off from his job and would immediately decline: who would do that, who would be ashamed of that? I don't have a conch in my head.
The mountains are charming, the seascape is exciting, Dalian people still like to maintain a slightly soothing life, like the tram in front of the train station is still retained, clinking and clanking along the paved railroad tracks towards the front, sometimes accompanied by a dull whistle. There are also a lot of lonely young people to the field, in the eyes of the elderly they are out to suffer, they will Dalian seafood signs and Dalian people's word of mouth sown all over the country, but to be ashamed to say, Dalian has not been a truly own local flavor snacks.
Once a friend from abroad heard that Dalian is full of beautiful women, first-class skin, first-class body type, just off the plane can't wait to look through the glass of the cab all over the world, and would like to borrow the third eye of the God of Erlang over to make it, and see me straight complained that the name does not match the reality. When I saw him, he complained that the name didn't match the name. I gave him a Dalian saying: Have you just gotten off the boat? He quickly said he was on a plane, I laughed and told him "just got off the boat" and the Beijing dialect "country bumpkin into the city" is the same, beautiful people are in all corners of the world for the color of Dalian, which will not have nothing to do in the street to wander around to be admired by others?
The friend called himself uneducated. After a while, he complained to me about the fact that Dalian was founded only a hundred years ago, and that it was just a bohemian city. I turned around the Dalian guide point to show him, the page is about the famous scenic spot Jinshitan, where stands the world's largest Aurora period cracked stone. From now on, there are 600 million years of history.
