Current LocationSingapore does not have four seasons. It is hot and humid all year round and is divided into two seasons, the rainy season and the dry season. Choosing a good time to travel is the most important. from November to March, it rains a lot in Singapore, which makes it difficult to travel, so the best time to travel is from May to August. In my few days in Singapore, there was only one day with showers, the rest of the time was sunny and very pleasant, mainly not affecting the photos.
It's hot in Singapore but the indoor air-conditioning is very strong. It's a good idea to have a jacket on you. If you are traveling with elderly children, you need to be more careful and beware of catching a cold.
Current location has other factors to consider besides the weather. There is also the Chinese New Year and Christmas. Ticket prices are high at this time of year, making it unsuitable for traveling. July and August are holidays for domestic students. Too many people, not recommended. Other times there won't be too many people and airfare is cheap. Especially June is the discount season in Singapore, shopaholics should not miss it.
About the weather
Singapore is one of the countries with the strictest laws in the world. Please be sure to observe local laws and regulations.
1) Drive on the left in Singapore. You should be safe when crossing the road. You should not jaywalk and especially not run red lights.
2)Smoking, spitting or littering in public ****ing places or air-conditioned places is expressly prohibited in Singapore.
3)Chewing gum is not allowed in Singapore or you will be heavily fined.
4)Singapore is quite strict on the entry of tobacco and alcohol, which are taxed excessively.
5)Tourists must have their own passport and tourist visa to enter Singapore. Tourists are not allowed to overstay in Singapore. When the entry customs stamps and signs the passport to prove the time of entry, they will issue an entry card, which is to be returned to the customs upon exit. So, remember to take good care of this card.
About travel time
Transportation in Singapore, like many places, is nothing more than the MRT, buses, cabs and on foot. But regardless of the mode of transportation, be sure to be civilized. You shouldn't eat or drink, and you'll be fined for littering.
Metro: I don't think it's necessary to know all the metro lines. It's enough to know if the MRT reaches where you are going, so I won't go into the MRT lines here. Before you go to Singapore, you can download an offline map from Baidu Maps and check it out. When you arrive in Singapore, you can check the route directly with Google Maps. Be sure to look in the right direction when you take the MRT.
Transit: There are a lot of public transportation in Singapore, which is very convenient. While you need to swipe your card to get on and off the bus, the buses in Singapore do not report stops, which is the most fatal point for foreigners. Fewer stops is good, more stops is just a guess okay? Usually I take two stops from my hotel to Newtown MRT with no problem. Once, when I went from Orchard Road to the Botanic Gardens, the name of the main station wasn't "Botanic Gardens", and even Dai Mang guessed that I'd finally gotten off the train early.
Rental: Singapore is called "Tex". In the developed world, Tex is still very cheap in Singapore. Cab will have a fixed station, do not call the black, more expensive, yellow and blue is more common, midnight and rush hour is relatively expensive.
Each cab will show the status:
Green Taxi: You can stop a car.
Green Karan: only goes to places along the way.
Shift: it's a shift change, you can get a ride along the way.
Red Hire: someone riding in it.
ONCALL: Someone has already called to make a reservation.
RED BUSY: No guests at the moment
About the law
1) Sockets: Singapore's sockets are British sockets, that is, like Hong Kong's tripod sockets.
2)Language: The official language in Singapore is English. At the same time, because of the large number of Chinese people, Chinese is also very common. Don't worry about asking for directions. Often you will come across the following conversations.
Me: Excuse me, how do I get there?
Passerby: You can actually speak Mandarin (Hokkien Mandarin).
3)Time difference: There is no time difference between Singapore and China.
4)Singapore's food and drink flavor is strong, you can bring some clearing medicine or granules, cold medicine, headache medicine, diarrhea medicine and other standing medicines, in case of emergency. If you eat seafood in the local area, please remember to choose a hygienic and clean restaurant.
5) Currency: Singapore commonly used SGD, 1 yuan SGD is equivalent to about 5 yuan RMB. You can also take your UnionPay card to withdraw SGD at ATMs with the UnionPay logo, but you will be charged a fee and settled at the real-time exchange rate. The two of us exchanged 5,000 RMB in cash, not including entrance fees and so on. We kept some souvenirs at the end and spent it all.

Don't ask me how to book the flights and hotels because I will only go for a semi-freelance package so I don't have to spend my energy on unimportant things. The hotel is just an overkill place for me to rest at night, as long as it's easy to get around, flights don't matter to me. As long as it takes me to Singapore.
This time too, I was looking for a Hive shipment, six days and four nights at the Scooter Beijing Hotel, including two mornings. The Beijing Hotel is very conveniently located right on Newton Road. The bus stop is in front of the hotel, and the Newtown subway station is two stops away. If you don't want to go there, you can take two buses and then take the tube. And it's not far from the airport, about 20 minutes, RMB 70 or so. The best part is that the whole route is fast lane with one traffic light at most. It's also close to Orchard Road. It's just perfect.
Of course, I was heartbroken to book a one-night stay at the Sands Hotel's endless swimming pool, so I won't go into that. My heart was bleeding.
Pre-trip preparation
Singapore visa. I also booked it at Hive Mall. I used a coupon at the time, 600 for two people. this item only gets you a 30 day round trip visa, but because I provided so much information, I made an exception and got a one year visa. Whether I will go to Singapore or not, this windfall was a pleasant surprise.
This particular aspect of the visa application downloads a Hundred Cities Travel app. when you register and log in to the visa lobby, all the formalities and prepared documents will appear. You can first take a picture of the prepared materials and upload it to the space of the app, which will be reviewed by the other party's customer service. After the audit, you can feel free to mail the materials, do not have to worry about calling back because of information problems.
About hotels and flights
Through this trip to Singapore, I found out that Dianping is a very good app. at first, I thought that the tickets on Taobao would be cheaper, but it turns out that the tickets on Dianping are cheaper.
Because tickets for ifly and Universal Studios were tight, I booked them on Taobao when I was writing my guide. The rest of the tickets, such as the Gardens by the Bay and the Ferris Tower on Sentosa Island, were booked a day in advance on Volkswagen Dianping, mainly because I was afraid of changing my itinerary, and it would be more troublesome to change the tickets. Like the air corridor tickets, all have to queue up at the site to buy tickets. Overall not many people.
Font Singapore is known as e-card. You can take the metro bus, convenience stores, Sentosa MRT, Texaco can also be used. Many parents of students in Singapore are afraid of their children spending money indiscriminately, they will be deposited in the card, which limits spending.
Singapore eEasy Card can be obtained at MRT stations and is valid for a maximum of 7 years at SGD 12, of which SGD 5 is a non-refundable card fee and SGD 7 is available for the balance.
Here, I recommend a very good deal for travelers. For traveling, it's safe to say that we've been there once, and we usually don't go back, not to mention the S$5 (RMB 25) non-refundable. So, if it's not a souvenir, rent an eEasy card. I found a store on Taobao and rented it for a deposit of $7.93. You spend the amount you need to recharge yourself, and the rest you can use the card as much as you want as long as one person spends $7. At the end you have to send the card back to the store and the deposit is refundable.
About visas
I don't buy local phone cards when I go to any country. I like to rent mobile Wi-Fi, so I won't go into that here. It is also mentioned in other travelogues.
About attraction tickets
Passport, bank card, cash, converter plugs, comfortable shoes, mosquito repellent.
Be sure to write down your hotel information before traveling so you can fill out your entry card.
About transportation card
We departed from Tianjin Binhai International Airport. We would like to remind you that it is a good idea to bring extra food with you when you take an international flight at Tianjin Airport. After security, there was a fast food chain with two restaurants open and nothing left to eat. Many of the boarding gates were empty and there were very few people.
Remember to take a map after security. It's available in several languages and free of charge.
Beijing hotels have the option of an airport bus from the airport to downtown hotels.
Airport bus: S$9 per person
Out of customs, arrive at the arrivals hall in the arrivals lobby, go to the ground transportation desk and buy a ticket, tell the staff where to go and you will be given a sticker to put on your body. The driver comes and tells you to get in the car.

The land tour will pass by landmarks such as the Capitol, High Court and Government House. The water tour begins with the splash of a duck boat as it enters Marina Bay. In the beautiful Marina Bay, you will see the Gardens by the Bay, the Sands Hotel, the Helix Bridge and the water platform one after the other. Most notably, you'll see the Fishtail Lion sculpture at the mouth of Singapore, Singapore's iconic building, the durian-shell shaped Marina Bay Art Center. Marina Garden, the billion-dollar mega-garden, has become Singapore's newest landmark. It consists of three gardens: Marina South Garden, Marina East Garden and Marina Central Garden. The largest of these waterfront gardens belongs to the Marina South Garden, where there are many huge super trees.
It is recommended to go to the Gardens by the Bay at 4:00 pm (9:00-21:00). After strolling through the two cold rooms, wait until dark and go up to the Skywalk for the light show. The times are 19:45 and 20:45. The best place to see it is at the end of the skywalk behind the Sands Hotel.
The Double Helix Bridge
The Esplanade Theatre at Esplanade
The Esplanade is Singapore's premier performing arts venue, with a unique dome that has earned it the title of "The Great Durian". The Esplanade is located adjacent to Marina Bay. There are concert halls, theaters, concert halls, rehearsal studios, outdoor performance spaces, shopping malls, restaurants and the Esplanade Library. Local and international performances at the Esplanade include musicals, concerts, dance and theater, as well as outdoor performances and lunchtime concerts.

Fishtail Lion ParkThe Fishtail Lion Statue, located in the city's Fishtail Lion Park on the banks of the Singapore River, is an icon and symbol of Singapore. The statue is 8 meters tall and weighs 40 tons. The lion's mouth spews out a stream of water. It was carved by sculptor Nam Lam and his two children. The park is surrounded by many of Singapore's famous landmarks such as Esplanade, Government House, High Court, Victoria Theatre, Raffles Bronze Statue and many more.
This beauty queen sat early waiting for the Sands laser show with unbeatable equipment, but the 9 o'clock laser show didn't come, didn't come.
There are laser shows at the Sands Hotel in the evenings, two each at 20:00 and 21:30 from Sunday to Thursday, and three each at 20:00 and 21:30 from Friday to Saturday.
I stole this photo of the laser show below because after waiting two nights, there was nothing. Of course, I wasn't the only one, everyone was waiting for the laser show. Can anyone tell me why there was no laser show at 9pm on 5.1 and 5.2, why, why?

Orchard Road
The most important thing to do for shopping at Orchard Road is to bring your passport which is refundable. The refund rate is 7% if a single item exceeds S$100.
It is recommended to go to Orchard Road after noon as the mall usually opens after 10 or 11pm. It's not a waste of time to go to other attractions in the morning and then go to Orchard Road.
The 55th floor of the mall is Ion sky and the view is also very good. open from 15:00-18:00 for free.
Sentosa Crossing TrailThe most popular tourist destination in Singapore is Sentosa Island. Sentosa is only half a kilometer from the main island of Singapore. It is connected to the main island through a causeway bridge. There are different series of attractions that cater to all kinds of people. Universal Studios and Skyscrapers are world famous attractions. If you are looking for a leisurely vacation, you can soak up the sea breeze on the beach, climb the mountains and look out over the horizon, explore the mysterious natural world and enjoy the novelty of sensory stimulation. Whether it's day or night, Sentosa conveys all her beauty and joy at all hours of the day and night.
There are many ways to enter Sentosa Island.
Method 1: Take the MRT line to Harbour Station, get off the MRT and take Exit e to the Sentosa MRT at Vivo City, where you can buy your ticket on the third floor of Vivocity's Vivo City. Entry fee is S$3.50 per person. the station in vivocity is called Sentosa MRT Station, and the stations on Sentosa Island are Marina Station, Imbio Station and Beach Station. It is free to ride back and forth between any three stations on Sentosa Island.
Method 2: Take a walk. vivocity has the Sentosa Cross Harbour Walkway on the first floor, leading to Sentosa Island. The walkway has an automated sidewalk transfer elevator. The walking distance is about five to six hundred meters. It takes ten minutes to get there. However, this is text about strategy. We didn't take the transfer elevator at all, we just walked along the beach for 10 minutes to enjoy the view. There were very few pedestrians and it was very cozy. Reading the strategy text, you have to pay a S$1 fee to get to the island, but you didn't pay it.

After checking in at Universal Studios, make sure you bring a map and program list. Just to let you know, the program schedule is in English at the front and Chinese at the back. There's Chinese! There's Chinese! I stupidly checked my English notes all the way through and ended up not knowing what the program was, so I didn't watch anything. When I got home, I realized there was Chinese at the back. I was really distressed at the time.
Just after watching Transformers, Singapore gave us a big scare - torrential rain, especially heavy, make sure you bring an umbrella. S$5 for an internal raincoat and S$10 for an umbrella. I was forced to buy an umbrella to take home. It had a logo on it as a souvenir.
Take the MRT from Universal Studios to Beach Station. After the MRT from the beach, Barra Bay Beach is on the left and Siloso Beach is on the right.
There is a free minibus between Barra Bay Beach and Siloso Beach.
On the opposite side of this suspension bridge is the southernmost point in Asia and the closest to the equator in Asia.
Ifly ifly at Siloso Beach.
IFly Singapore is the world's largest indoor skydiving simulator, and can fly from age 7 all the way up to 106, whether you're a first-timer or an experienced skydiver. Its state-of-the-art, patented technology ensures a high level of safety, and the absolute-sized wind tunnel allows for a variety of movements such as free flight and even formation-altering skydives.

Sentosa Fishtail Lion Tower
The legendary Fishtail Lion, the guardian of prosperity, is half lion, half fish. It personifies the history of Singapore's port city. The lion depicts the folklore of Prince Sanila Utama's rediscovery of the lion and the city, while the fishtail symbolizes the ancient fishing village of Temasek, which means "sea" in Javanese. Today, the magnificent fishtail lion is the symbol of Singapore and attracts visitors from all over the world. This is still the truth of the rumor. Come see, hear and feel the grandeur of this kingly statue.
The Skyscraper is the highest attraction in Sentosa and the tallest free-standing observation tower in Asia. The giant cable car can carry 72 visitors at a time to a height of 131 meters to enjoy the view.
It's good to go to the Skyscraper at this time of the year as you can see the sunset.

Little India, home to Singapore's Indian community, is like a microcosm of India. Filled with the sound of car horns, bicycle bells and the noise of residents, it is one of the most regional places in Singapore. At Little India, you can choose carefully between old stores and stalls; you can get drunk at True Cage Road, shrouded in spices and flowers; or you can sample hot Indian food at humble stores. During your stay at the Festival of Lights, Little India will be especially enchanting as it is decorated as a glorious mythical world. Little India is particularly busy on Saturday and Sunday evenings, as Indian workers in Singapore like to eat, shop or meet up with friends here. The working hours from Monday to Friday are quieter.
Many guides say it's best not to visit Little India because it's not safe. It's actually not that bad. As long as it's not an important festival, there are very few people in Little India, so you can rest assured.
Bangbangunan Gambangunan gets its name from the Glen Tree that once flourished here. Once the center of the Malay royal family's activities, it is now converted into a cultural heritage museum that showcases the rich history of the Malay community in Singapore. The main tourist attractions are the Sultan Mosque, Basora Street, Arab Street and Haji Lane, all of which are not to be missed to experience the ethnic flavor.

St. Andrew's Cathedral St. Andrew's Cathedral is Singapore's first major Anglican Church with a strong neo-Gothic architectural style.
Opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9:00-17:00.

I went to the National Art Museum to enjoy it. It's not as good as the Raiders, and it's pretty much the same as all the art museums. Might consider dropping the attraction.
Singapore Changi Airport
Straight water like this is available in Singapore in many varieties. It's best to bring a cup. After all, Singapore prices are high.
Local restaurants in Singapore charge 10% service charge and 7% GST.
1. Wine Connection Cheese Bar Open: 11:30-12:00
If you like cheese, come to this house and watch the cheese slowly form. Eating vegetables and meat is a different experience.
2.2 First floor. Dazzling Cafes Capitol Mall
Singapore has two dazzling cafes. The gateway in Somerset is Dream Purple and the other is the one I went to. Tiffany's is blue, the decor is girly, and the afternoon tea is still great.
3. Food Street, Sentosa Island, Malaysia
This was one of the cheapest meals I had in Singapore because it had a variety of local Singaporean food as well as Indian-style meals like roadside stalls. I love the Indian Fritters, not made by the Chinese, made by the Indians, and they are so good that they fly off the shelves. I didn't try the satay for fear of overpowering the flavor. My mom and I ate light and the Hokkien shrimp noodles were light and tasty.
4. Pudding Dog Theme Restaurant at Po Mpopurin Cafe (Orchard Central Road, 4/F)
Super cute. It's a western restaurant for pudding dogs.
5. Orchard Road Plaza Ice Cream
Ice cream is popular all over the world, but if I don't want it cold, I don't get it. It's right across from GUCCI at Orchard Road Parade, in front of Aon City.
6. Hoshino Cafe Hoshino Cafe
The restaurant where I wanted to eat every dish. The fruit tea is especially good.
7. Orchard Road Plaza Mall, 1st floor, Asiana Restaurant
It's a kind of Japanese cuisine, but the dishes are very unique and delicious.
8. Near the Open Farm Community Botanic Garden
Monday to Friday 12:00-15:00 18:00-22:00 Saturday and Sunday 11:00-22:00
Featured by a nice ambience, crowded and long queues.
9. DC Superhero Cafe
Many babies can't sit still, can they? The DC-themed restaurant tastes good, but there are too many dishes.
In the end, there was just no time for Yakun and Songfa meat and bone tea.
I am not a shopaholic. I bought a pair of Dr. Martens and a bottle of Lancome face cream in Singapore because I was afraid of being overweight. I really didn't pay attention to other branded items and I don't have any substantial suggestions or advice.
The Singapore trip is over, but the flower-viewing trip is not. I hope mom will have just as much fun next time.
