It is named after Taohe River in China. Lintao, called Didao in ancient times, is located at the crossroads of the ancient Silk Road and the ancient Tang Fan Road. Since ancient times, it has been a famous city in the northwest and an important town in Longyou, and is known as the "hometown of painted pottery".
