The 2023 tour of the dance drama "Dream of the Red Chamber" runs from April 29th to May 2nd.
"Dream of Red Mansions" is one of the Four Great Classical Chinese Masterpieces, the pinnacle of Chinese classical literature, written by Cao Xueqin, a writer of the Qing Dynasty. Jiangsu Grand Theater original folk dance drama "Dream of Red Mansions" to Jia Baoyu and Lin Daiyu, Xue Baochai's love as the main line, selected the original important plot. The tour of the dance drama "Dream of Red Mansions" will be performed at the Sichuan Grand Theater Amphitheater.
This drama is created by a group of outstanding young creative team of strong, **** together. By the young dance artists, young director Li Xing, Li Chao hand in hand as director. Also invited the domestic first-class creative team to join.

The story from Daiyu into the Jia House, to the end of the Baoyu return to the Great Wilderness, to Jia Baoyu and Lin Daiyu, Xue Baochai's love for the marriage of the tragedy of the main line, strictly based on the Dream of Red Mansions, the contents of the 120 books, as a benchmark, to the illusion of the realm of the virtual, Yuanchun, Liu Lou Lou Lou in the Grand View Garden, Daiyu burial and other important episodes of the familiar stage form of the original story. The original plot of the play is rearranged in the form of a stage.
The narrative takes the characteristics of a traditional chapter book, with twelve dances, each with its own title, independently and in tandem, to write about the prosperity and collapse of a family of bells and whistles, and to show the life of a beautiful woman in a lady's chamber. While respecting the principles of the original, the work is infused with a unique modern meaning by young, imaginative and innovative artists.
