Wu Zhenyu, a member of China Arts and Crafts Association and a national senior artist, graduated from Jiangsu Light Industry School (now renamed Light Industry College). In modeling design, attention is paid to the combination of form and spirit, novelty and chic. In practice, new techniques such as "sticking plum blossom method" and "plastic bamboo root method" are innovated.
