Bono County is located in the center of Hebei Province, south of Baoding City. It borders Li County in the east, Anguo in the west, Qingyuan in the north, and Anping and Raoyang County in Hengshui City in the south. The total area is 331 square kilometers. The total population is 250,000 (2004)

History
Boling in the Eastern Han Dynasty, Bolu in the Wei Dynasty, and renamed Bono County in the Northern Wei Dynasty. According to "Tai Gan Huan Yu Ji", "The name was given because the place was located in the field of Bo Shui." But the ancient Bono County is not in today's Bono, but in today's Li County, when the Northern Qi merged into the Bono County, the Ming Dynasty, Bono County, the county seat migrated to today's land.
