The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (BOCOG) is launching a theme song for the 100-day countdown, "Beijing Welcomes You", sung by 100 singers on the occasion of the 100-day countdown to the Beijing Olympics.

Behind the Scenes
The song "Beijing Welcomes You" took only one and a half months from the beginning of March to the completion of the production, but the recording material files amounted to as much as 11G, and the lyrics and music samples were even produced within five days. Within two weeks to complete the recording of 100 singers, graphic photography and Beijing Olympic blessing interviews, 6 days to complete all the post-production, only the documentary filming material amounted to more than 7,000 minutes, there are more than 200 staff members for the birth of its hard work and sweat. In the process of creation, every participant almost has a touching story. In this team, there are no stars and big names, only Olympic participants, all of whom have given up fame and fortune, and have given themselves selflessly to the Olympics without complaint. Many singers took the initiative to sign up for the event after hearing about it, and some of them put off commercial performances and traveled to Beijing at their own expense to participate in the recording. Their pious attitude towards the Olympics touched and inspired the people on the spot. Minister Zhao Dongming said emotionally that the creation of the song "Beijing Welcomes You" demonstrated the positive attitude and sincere feelings of Chinese musicians to warmly welcome friends from all over the world to Beijing to participate in the Olympic Games.
