The Historical Origin of Yaojie

Yaojie has a long history and is a famous Majiayao cultural site. Tang Wude was under the jurisdiction of Lanzhou Yongdeng in two years. 1960 Honggu District of Lanzhou City was established, and Yaojie was divided into one township and one street. 1988 was formed by the merger of Yaojie Street in Yaojie Township. 1August 1999 and March 2000, 1999 was approved by the provincial economic restructuring commission and the China Small Town Reform and Development Center of the State Economic Restructuring Office as a pilot project for comprehensive reform of small towns at the provincial and national levels. In June 2004, the town-level organizational system was abolished and Yaojie Sub-district Office was established.
