Life experience of studying in tilburg, the Netherlands

I want to write about TILBURG, the city where I live now, for a long time, but I always don't know where to start, just like the more people next to you, the less you know how to describe him. I have been in Holland for about 8 months. At first, I was really unaccustomed to life and bored, but after getting along for so long, I gradually fell in love with this small town.

I moved from a small apartment arranged by my school when I first arrived in Holland to a house in the westernmost part of the city. At last, my new home has big glass windows and balconies, and my own white canvas sofa, small square table with fruit green, bright yellow bookshelves, dark blue wardrobe and rattan chairs. When the weather is fine, move the cane chair and small table to the balcony, and watch the sun go down while typing into the computer. From time to time, hot air balloons float slowly, red, blue and green, floating up and down in the cotton-wool-like white clouds.

There are connected waterways in the east and north of the city. When I am in a bad mood, I always cross the whole city and sit on the bench there for an afternoon. Before spring, seagulls and waterfowl all lived here, and the water was glistening, and a handful of bread crumbs attracted flocks of birds. Now they all flew back to the seaside, leaving only wild ducks and big white geese swimming across with their newborn children, or sleeping in the grass by the river, and people were lazy to lift their eyelids when they passed.

When I came back from other cities last weekend, I happened to meet a youth street dance competition in the downtown square. Parents and teachers came from all over the country with their children. The youngest was only 7 or 8 years old, dressed in cool clothes and makeup, and didn't get stage fright at all. The outdoor cafes around were so crowded that I couldn't find an empty seat. I stood there for two hours and didn't notice it. Seeing the children dancing with energy, my heart is also full of emotion. They still have a lot of youth to enjoy, but there is not much left of their own.

Tell me about my school. All buildings are named by letters, and the street signs are all buildings A, B, C, E, F and G? It was really hard to remember at first. The so-called campus is not big, but there are large forests in the southwest, which looks like a forest park. In the middle of the two classes, I will spend 1-2 hours on the lawn behind the restaurant, lying under a big tree, next to an artificial lake and fountain. From time to time, fish jump out of the water, and I also see a group of children catching a big fish nearly 3 cm long in it. At the beginning of the year, the Queen came to present the honorary doctorate here to former UN Secretary-General Annan, and now there are her portraits and busts in the hall.

After living here for so long, I heard that there was a small zoo behind the school, so I went exploring on my own on a Sunday. I saw the tracks when I walked at random, then turned into a hidden forest, and suddenly there was a paradise in front of me. An ancient wooden bridge hangs in front of us, below which is gurgling water, surrounded by Metasequoia glyptostroboides with gourd-like roots and bright green eyes.

Standing on the wooden bridge, looking down, many mandarin ducks are floating leisurely on the water, with a black swan in between! I rushed across the bridge to the water's edge to get a closer look. It was very face-saving, and swam over with a red mouth and Kuroha's shiny hair. His posture was very beautiful, and he only tapped the water with one foot occasionally. When I was less than half a meter away, the noble princess (or prince) slowly turned around and went back.

Say goodbye to my secret forest and walk to the small zoo soon. I don't need tickets. I haven't seen a manager. Most of them are parents taking their children around, feeding fresh celery leaves to lambs, ponies and all kinds of strange-looking birds or chickens. My friend told me that there is a very interesting pig here. At first glance, it looks like it ran out of an cartoon. Some breeders have white hair on their heads, which is very similar to hair, and some of them have long hair, which is comparable to that of professors.
