Ellesmere was a trainee of the 6th Artiste Training Course of TVB's Professional Television Production Training Center
After graduating from the course, Ellesmere was signed up in September 1993 as a contract artiste.
Ellesmere worked as a children's program host for more than three years, and then participated in travel program hosting work, traveled halfway around the world, and thus called the Prince of Travel; has traveled to film travel programs in places such as: Japan, Cambodia, India, China, the United States, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Cuba, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico, Canada, and New Zealand. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Government of Canada.
In 1999, he successfully reached the 5,600-meter Mount Everest base camp for the TVB's TVB programme "The Summit".
