What do you think when your peers call you "auntie"?

I might be a little surprised and embarrassed when my peers call me "auntie", but I might also find it a little funny and cute.

First of all, I would be surprised because the term "auntie" is usually used to address older women, and it seems a bit uncomfortable for me to be called "auntie" by someone my own age. However, I also realize that it's probably because they think I'm acting mature and stable, and that's why they call me that.

Secondly, I would feel a little awkward because the term "auntie" is sometimes used to indicate a less-than-stellar opinion of a woman's looks or demeanor. However, I would also realize that it was probably just a term of endearment and not meant to be malicious.

Finally, I would also find it somewhat amusing and endearing, as "aunty" can make me feel closer to younger people, and it can also make me feel like I'm seen as a kind elder. At the same time, I also feel that I am recognized and respected in this title.

All in all, I will accept this title with a positive mindset and try to communicate and interact better with young people.
