The mother of China dance is Dai. As Dai was born in the West Indies, she also lived abroad for many years. 192 1 year-old, Dai began to learn dance and piano at the age of five. After seven years of study, Dai's piano level was enough to pass the intermediate examination. When Dai was ten years old, he entered the local dance school to study ballet. 1930, Dai came to London, England, and studied under the famous dancers Anton Dowling and Mary Weigmann.
However, in the process of learning dance in London, due to some differences of opinion between Dai and the dance troupe and Dai's poor family, she had to quit the dance troupe and live a work-study program. Although Dai's living conditions were difficult at that time, she still insisted on artistic creation. Finally, 1939, she also successfully won the scholarship of Yus Ryder Dance School with excellent results. During her study in this school, Dai learned many artistic ideas of dance creation, which also had a far-reaching impact on her later dance career development.
After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Dai organized the China Sports Committee in London. At the same time, she also raised anti-Japanese funds for China. It can be said that with her help, China people's anti-Japanese spirit has also spread to all parts of the world. After the outbreak of World War II, Dai returned to China. 1940, Soong Ching Ling also met this outstanding dance artist in Hong Kong. After returning to China, Dai choreographed and directed many dances that helped publicize the anti-Japanese work. Thanks to her efforts, people everywhere and anti-Japanese workers have been greatly encouraged. After the founding of New China, Dai was invited by many college dance teams. At that time, she was also the instructor of many dance companies. From various postures, we can feel that Dai's achievements in dance are very high.
However, such an excellent artist's emotional experience is very bumpy. While living in London, Dai met a man named Willie Sukop, who was also Dai's first love. However, because Sukop was engaged to a banker's daughter, Dai had to break up with his first love and return to the motherland. Later, at 1940, Dai met a young painter Ye in Hong Kong, and they established a love relationship and got married soon. However, Dai did not live a stable life from then on. After ten years of marriage, Dai and Ye went through the divorce procedure. Out of desire for family, 1956, Dai and one of his colleagues, Ding Ning, got married again.
At that time, because Ding Ning was much younger than Dai, their marriage was also criticized. At that time, in such a chaotic public opinion environment, their marriage soon broke down, and in Dai's later years, she also expressed regret for divorcing Ye.

Although some people can't accept Dai's emotional life experience, they have to admit that Dai's achievements in dance art are very high. It can be said that Dai devoted almost all her life to the dance career in China, and with her efforts, the development of modern dance career in China has also made great breakthroughs.
From all her experiences, we can feel that everyone's image is actually rich and three-dimensional, and when we understand a person, we can't evaluate it from a single angle. If we can't look at a person comprehensively, then we will also have some incorrect prejudices.
