Lantern Festival is a popular traditional folk art in China. Its outstanding feature is that the hand never leaves the fan and handkerchief, singing and dancing, and singing and doing are closely combined.

Yunnan lantern
Yunnan Lantern Opera originated from the lanterns in the folk "social fire" activities in the Ming Dynasty or earlier, and was popular in all parts of the province and individual areas in Sichuan and Guizhou. Due to the differences in pronunciation and vocals of artists, lanterns popular in different regions are influenced by different schools, dramas or folk songs.
