When I first entered elementary school, I knew that the flag would be raised every Monday, and in the face of the bright red flag, my heart was more than ignorant of the infinite yearning and inexplicable love for the red flag. The teacher told us that the red flag on the flag-raising platform is called the five-star red flag, and that this awe-inspiring and desirable five-star red flag is the national flag of our great motherland!
There is a song that goes like this: "Five-star Red Flag, you are my pride, Five-star Red Flag, I am proud of you, I cheer for you, I bless you, your name, more important than my life"! I grew up listening to this patriotic song, and it was the uplifting lyrics that established my patriotic beliefs.
Later, I joined the Chinese Junior Vanguard, and when I wore the red scarf, I was incredibly proud, incredibly proud, proud that I was Chinese, proud that I could wear the red scarf. Teachers have always taught us to love our motherland, treat the red scarf well, the five-star red flag is how many pioneers and soldiers with blood red, and the red scarf is a corner of the five-star red flag, to love the motherland, from the love of the five-star red flag, the love of the red scarf to start. After that, I was more determined to love my country, the five-star red flag and the red scarf, as I am a Chinese!
When I was in elementary school, I wore a red scarf to and from school every day, and my mother said jokingly that I was the person who loved the red scarf the most, and that I wore it at school and at home, and that I almost didn't wear the red scarf to bed! Even sometimes when I went to school, I found the red scarf still stained with rice grains. I know clearly that now I can not do anything for the motherland, but I am with a burning heart to love my motherland, I want to use the love of the red scarf to express my immense respect for the great motherland.
When I entered junior high school, I didn't have to wear a red scarf, and I was a little reluctant to let go of it, so I wished I could go to school with a red scarf again! However, some of the students in my class don't even bother to wear their school tags, and it's easy to remember how they treated the red scarf in elementary school; on Monday when the flag was raised, the students were all in an uproar, showing no respect for their teachers, the school rules, or the national flag! I'm so angry but I can't help it. I sincerely hope that every student will love their school, love the flag, and love the motherland!
