Fan Linlin, a singer and actress of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Hai Zheng Wen Gong Troupe, was born in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China, on February 6, 1982, she studied at the Vocal Department of the Shenyang Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Ding Yaxian, a renowned professor of folk music, and after graduation, she worked in the Dalian Song and Dance Troupe as a folk singer, and then changed to sing pop songs.
Fan Linlin was born in a military camp in Dalian, and from a young age she aspired to become a professional actress one day. However, her loving parents were worried about her daughter's uneven artistic path and only wanted her to pursue music as a hobby.
But in order to realize her dream, Fan Linlin continued to study music knowledge, and was finally admitted to the Shenyang Conservatory of Music in 1978, and graduated with honors in 1982, assigned to the Dalian Song and Dance Troupe as a soloist.
