1. Status of the Lahu People:

Lancang is the only Lahu Autonomous County in China, with 8 hereditary ethnic minorities, and the ethnic minorities account for 79% of the county's total population, of which the Lahu population accounts for 43% of the county's total population, 1/2 of the country's Lahu population, and 1/3 of the world's Lahu population.
