1. Status of the Lahu People:
Lancang is the only Lahu Autonomous County in China, with 8 hereditary ethnic minorities, and the ethnic minorities account for 79% of the county's total population, of which the Lahu population accounts for 43% of the county's total population, 1/2 of the country's Lahu population, and 1/3 of the world's Lahu population. The Lahu language belongs to the Yi branch of the Tibeto-Burman language family of the Sino-Tibetan language family, and has two dialects: Lahuna and Lahu Xi.
2. Lahu Clothing:
The traditional clothing of Lahu is black, and the main color of both men's and women's clothing is black. Men usually wear short shirts with lapels, black cloth pants, black cloth hats or black headscarves.
