It belongs to the plateau structure of the fracture trap lake, with an elevation of 1972 meters above sea level. 7. How to get to Luotuan Peninsula

Hangzhou doesn't have the Erhai.

The Erhai Sea is located in the northern part of Dali, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is named Erhai because it looks like a person's ear. Although it is called a sea, it is actually a lake. It is said to be called Erhai because the Bai people have never seen the sea, as a sign of their yearning for it.

The Erhai Sea belongs to the Lancang River system. The lake flows out of the Xi'an'er River, joins with the Yangjiang River and injects into the Lancang River. There are attractions such as Little Putuo, Nanzhao Style Island, Luoquan Peninsula and Shuang Lang. Erhai Moon is one of the four great attractions of Dali.

8. Luoquan Peninsula Tourist Area Pink Beach

Now to travel, of course, is the four seasons like spring in Yunnan. Now the average temperature in Yunnan is about 20 degrees. Played a few days, a *** spent more than 1000, had a great time. Next, let's recommend a few Yunnan attractions I've been to:

130 kilometers around the Erhai Sea.

The Erhai looks like an ear, hence the name, but it is a lake, not a sea, and the second largest freshwater lake in Yunnan province. There's no reason to go to the Erhai, but it has a magnetism you don't have Since you're here, I don't want to go.

There are a lot of attractions around the Erhai, but it always seems that the most beautiful scenery on the road, the car stopped at a loss for words. Erhai is roughly divided into two roads, one is the west road around the sea, one is the east road around the sea, almost close to the Erhai.

The boat traveling on the Erhai Sea is really like a small leaf that can don' set off a big wave. It's just that when the island is high, it seems to have some area that takes up part of the Erhai.

Dali Ancient City or downtown Dali, because I can I can't say a clear line between them. In fact, I looked at the mountains across the river. There are just a lot of buildings that are houses, the homes of the Dali people. There are as many houses as there are Dali people, and the houses are lined up in a beehive at the foot of Cangshan Mountain. How long do the Cangshan Mountains stretch? Dali's villages and hamlets form a cultural landscape corridor.

After seeing enough water in the Erhai Sea, the vehicle continues on to the next stop, Luoquan Peninsula.

Luoquan PeninsulaPhoto/Author: Hu

Luoquan Peninsula is also surrounded by water on three sides, across the sea from Dali Old Town. It is said to be an excellent location for enjoying the beauty of Cangshan Lake and Erhai, but the scenic viewing is relatively weak. Except for these two towers, it is almost impossible to find other buildings. If anything, the most memorable part of the trip was when I took the elevator to Luoquan Pagoda. Although the elevator costs an additional $10, since I I was here, how could I not go up? From the tower you get a view of the peninsula surrounded by water on three sides.

Luoquan Photo/Author: Hu

The view of the entire Erhai Sea from the top of Luoquan Tower was spectacular enough. I even think that after seeing the Erhai here, it after there is no need to travel on the sea. But how can it be a complete ring without continuing?

Small Pudu although it is the first time to meet, but it always feels familiar. It is the one that exits more often in the photos about the Erhai Sea scenery. Erhai small Putuo is a small and exquisite pavilion-style two-story building, the first floor is the Buddha Bodhisattva, the second floor is the Goddess of Mercy. It is said that the best time for locals to enjoy the Putuo mist and fog is in the morning, and the small Putuo is full of fog, fairy winds and beautiful views!

Shuanglang Ancient Town is probably the closest ancient town to the Erhai Sea. It aspires to have all its buildings, new hotels, bars and restaurants built directly into the Erhai so that tourists can eat, drink and be merry on or in the Erhai. I don't Idon' I don't think the experience was that great. It was a little too late. I walked on the stone road in the ancient town of Shuanglang by the Erhai Sea. I hate stone paths with a passion. I can walk all day in the mountains, but after I hour I will abandon the stone road

Rows of old houses with low eaves are my most intuitive feeling about Shuanglang. This quiet fishing village on the eastern shore of the Erhai Sea may be far from the city now, but its quiet look thousands of years ago can be unappreciated. The streets are lined with aborigines working in ethnic costumes, more stores, noisy covers filling the ears, and native wandering singers. Where are you?

From the car Shuanglang Ancient Town came out has not got off the car until the walk through the entire east coast. Sure enough, there is not much scenery after the car Shuanglang ancient town. Walk the entire east coast to the west coast of the Erhai Sea. Zhou City, West Zhou ancient town, Hai She Park and Butterfly Spring, Chong Sheng Temple to make the west coast of the scenery is particularly striking.

There were very few cars on the way back to the old town, and the roadside was lined with large farmland. In the afternoon, the sun came out from the west and the sunlight shone out from the clouds. It was so beautiful! I wanted to shout it out loud! I love the Jesus light in Yunnan, the Tyndall effect is always common here.

The weekly city of Dali is a place where tie-dye is done in almost every home.

People say it's good to spend good steel. For the use of time, we also need to spend our time on good things. This tie-dye experience in Dali really showed what a blessing it is to waste time on beautiful things.

Zhou is the largest settlement of the Bai people, so tie-dyeing here is also called Bai tie-dyeing. The finished products of Bai tie-dye are mostly blue, fresh and light, like an innocent painting, like a brushstroke, but not much color, but it can show a kind of light and tolerant mentality and the pursuit of the ideal of the best life. This is the reason why many people like tie-dye.

When you walk into Zhoucheng, you can see tie-dye cloths everywhere, which show the deep cultural heritage. Stepping into the courtyard, the first thing you see is a large indigo dyeing vat with blue tie-dye cloth fluttering in the wind.

Dyeing Photograph/Author: Hu

The beauty of dyeing is a gift from the artisan and from the earth.

The soaked blue root is transformed many times day after day into dye, the color source of tie-dye. From nature, but in exchange for the most fantastic blue color.

After the tour, I watched my uncle's process and decided to make a tie-dye piece. After consulting, the whole process takes at least two hours. Apparently, it's a bit long, but I think it's all here. Its a bit of a shame if I just watch it go, so I asked again if it was any quicker. Can I dye a chambray? Uncle Bai gave me a scarf with a pattern of the Cangshan Mountains in Dali and instructed me to color it. After rinsing, my piece dried in the yard.

I was so happy and excited to see that I was able to dye a piece of work that I invited Auntie Bai, the owner of this dyeing workshop, to take a picture with me in front of this tie-dyed piece. Everyone said that my cloth was dyed well and I worked with vigor like a man. In fact, Cangshan is soft, so I may have dyed it as the snowy mountains of western Sichuan!

The hospitable Bai monks and aunts gave me my dyed work. Out of courtesy, they bought a few tiny tie-dye derivatives at my aunt's house we shopped at the bazaar. I kept the miscellaneous bags for my own mirrors. I plan to give away other small items like teacups, purses and squares. I don't I don't know if it's kinda raffled off on Twitter or something.

As for my tie-dye work, it's being framed right now.

The reason I was so excited to go to Xizhou was for the food.

I didn't even have breakfast at the inn before I took a bus to Xizhou Ancient Town under the arrangement of my housekeeper sister.

Xizhou Ancient Town Photography/Writing: Hu

Xizhou Ancient Town has no concept for me. Every time I traveled it was just a random trip. Maybe its a legend of my destination, a snack, or a small attraction that no one else is interested in. As soon as I heard about it I thought it was nice and would just show up at the local area without any strategy of waving my hand. A few years ago, I didn't I didn't even know what strategy meant, but then I suddenly realized! Just get a teacher, Goku. Don't hit the flowers and plants . This time, I was excited to go to Xizhou, just for the food!

Xizhou ancient town of ancient architecture photos / Hu

Followed me into the city of Dali friends pointed to a street in front of me, said, this is the most prosperous street in Xizhou. I raised my camera in surprise and faced the cold, quiet street! It was too quiet! The first time I saw Xizhou, I fell in love with this atmosphere of Xizhou ancient town. There are some ancient towns that are as simple as they should be, and there are also some ancient towns that have experienced the silence of the years, and that sense of solidity is infectious.

Out of the streets and alleys, came to the morning market. It is crowded with people and the stalls are busy buying and selling. People buying things continue to the next store, hands twisted to buy things, feel the breath of life but do not seem to be noisy. We walked through the crowd looking for what was breakfast today.

Mao tofu is naturally something you wouldn't dare try. Rumor has it that you'll be drinking marshmallows as soon as you get it in your mouth. Xizhou Poop is for one, but only Xizhou Poop can be too dry. That's not a snacking attitude, so I rushed to find a thin bean flour to go with it. Chow Po Po has a tender crust and comes in sweet and salty flavors, the salty stuffed meat and the sweet rose sugar. Since I had the salty one, I recommend you try the sweet flavor first. The stall owner will cut it into pieces for you after you buy it, making it easy to eat. The thin bean flour is light yellow in color and pleasantly fragrant. Put it into a bowl and sprinkle with a little chopped green onion, pepper and chili powder. The light yellow color of the thin bean vermicelli, the green color of the scallions, and the bright red color of the chili noodles make you want to eat it. Take a sip and smack your lips. It it's' really cool! With this rare combination, I ate to my heart's content, breakfast is so simple, simple but happy.

After saying goodbye to the stall owner, I dug into the alley again. I always feel that the fancy stores are for tourists and tour groups, so I still prefer to walk alone in the alleys, where the original charm of Xizhou is displayed. After deviating from the main street and walking into the alleys, I found myself opening a Pandora Siddhartha's box. Such skillful carving is on display in the old houses that the people who live here even start eating breakfast.

Out of the courtyard, my friend says he'll take me to see another old building, across a field. I applauded, and so it began. We arrived at the field filled with golden rice. The rice shone brightly in the sunlight and the breeze picked up. The fields became undulating waves, and all the wind-blown rice bowed their heads to receive the divine bath. The ancient building is on the edge of the rice field, a building with orange walls and green tiles.

I try to visit as many houses as possible that I come across on the road, and the time nonchalantly arrives in the morning. Light and shadow outline the simple and heavy appearance of these old houses. In a courtyard that says wood carving, we met a handsome man who carved wood. With his permission, we started visiting their works. I can say little about the quality of the work in front of me without having an in-depth knowledge of the art of wood carving, but I felt that the handsome man was serious when he was making things and looked like a craftsman at his young age.

This building is a masterpiece residential building of the Bai people. It is listed as a national cultural relics protection unit called Xi'an Yuanlin. It was originally owned by Yang Pinxiang and later taken over by a couple from the United States, Mr. and Mrs. Linden. It was also under the government's painstaking efforts that the Yang family compound was demolished and turned into an inn. Most of the people who stayed there were foreigners, and many internationally renowned artists and experts in various fields liked to stay here for a few nights. I was surprised once when I met Linden! Linden American's Chinese is even better than many Chinese. He heard that I was here to pick up some ideas and welcomed me. At the time, Linden was being interviewed by CCTV, so my friend took me to sunbathe at a cafe in Yuanlin, Xi'an, where I could see a whole field of rice paddies.

Xizhou has a lot of snacks. After finishing my coffee, I saw that it was eleven o'clock. After expressing my desire to find another snack for my friends, I bid farewell to Linden and his Xi'an Yuanlin. Once again, as we arrived at the street where we had walked into the city in the morning, I repeatedly checked with my friends to make sure we weren't going the wrong way. There were already many stores and crowded stalls in front of us, and the contrast between the blooming flowers and the quiet of the morning was too great. Sure enough, the people of Xizhou like to sleep in.

Xizhou Sifang Street Photography/Writing: Hu

Sifang Street, the street name of many ancient cities in Yunnan, is also the busiest street in the ancient town of Xizhou. On this street, we found another snack in the ancient town of Xizhou - pea flour. At first glance, there is no difference between the pea flour and the thin pea flour outside. It it's just dry and thin. When you taste the pea flour carefully, it has a stronger flavor and good texture, while after pouring all kinds of seasonings, it is sour, sweet, spicy, fragrant and salty, which is very delicious.

Photo of pea vermicelli/Hu Caiwen

This little store for pea vermicelli is called Ama Camp Pea Vermicelli. The operator is a grandmother, who is 78 years old. The grandmother treats all customers equally, whether they are adults or children, locals or outsiders, and won't don't look at off-season and peak season. Each bowl is five dollars. Not because tourists want more, but locals want less. While we were eating, many of our foreign friends came to buy as well. Grandma didn't t talk, just held out a hand to show the price. These foreign friends were not stupid and everyone had a good deal.

Town by the Erhai SeaPhoto/writing by Hu

Grandma arched her back, but every grain of pea flour was seasoned by her. Maybe it's just finding a confidence to do something. I saw a lot of beautiful blue cloth on the square street outside the town and knew it was tie-dye. After leaving the old town, our driver drove us to Hai Shu Park on the edge of the old town of Xizhou, or rather we walked out of the old town of Xizhou on the Erhai Sea.

4 went to Haishu Park to laze around and watch the dead wood. Than Dali time, is used to squander.

Hai She Park is called Hai She because it's shaped like a tongue sticking out into the Erhai Sea, and Xizhou is an ancient town near the Erhai Sea, so these two attractions are the closest to each other on the Erhai Ring Road, only two or three miles away.

The tongue stretches from wide to narrow toward the Erhai Sea, creating a landscape that surrounds the sea on three sides of the Haishe Park. In Haishe Park, you can walk on the stone steps close to the Erhai Sea. Sometimes, the stone steps are flooded with water. In summer, you can gently step on them with bare feet. On both sides are shallow wetlands with many trees growing. Dead trees still stand in them, still exposed to the wind and rain day and night, full and gradually concave into different shapes.

Entering the Haishu Park, one can choose to take a horse-drawn carriage or walk. Horse-drawn carriages can bring people supplies for touring the dating scene, and the walk is only 700 meters. I saw many horses were exhausted and their legs were shaking. They wanted to come down and rest, but they were covered by the carriages. I could Idon' I couldn't bear to walk in.

The tongue park is very small. It's best to spend an hour or most of the day in it, depending on the visitor's own arrangements. It's also nice to spend the afternoon in the sun if you can find a place to rest. After all, time in Dali is meant to be squandered.

Dalians can enjoy the scenery of the Erhai Sea every day, which we can don't want to wish for in our fast-paced lives. On such a beautiful Erhai, I don't I don't like to take pictures, so I asked my friend to take a picture of me to show that I'm here. In hipster terms, it's called clocking the Sea Tongue Park.

Walking out of Hai Shu Park, I noticed two large trees on the side of the road. Came out just in time to see them in my field of vision. The two trees were said to have actually grown so thick that they became one tree. This tree is a lover's tree in Dali, many people will come here to take photos to witness love. This famous lover tree in Dali was photographed by me as a single dog tree! Because I am still a person, so I will try to make it a lover s tree next time!

Traveling to Yunnan is a great experience no matter how many days you play. If you don't don't believe me, try it.
