The Gaixia ancient battlefield, where Xiang Yu and Liu Bang fought a decisive battle during the Chu-Han struggle, was located in the open plain between Suishui and Xu Shui (now Tuohe River) in Lingbi County, Anhui Province.
The Battlefield Center won the bid for the Chu-Han War (205-202 BC) according to the Atlas of China Historical Manuscripts by Guo Moruo, a contemporary historian. It is located near Gaixia Village, Wiki Town, 24.5 kilometers southeast of Lingbi County.
The southern part is steep, with an altitude of18.77m, and the northern part is gradually gentle, with an altitude of15.22m and a height difference of 3.52m.. It belongs to the natural topography of Gaogang, covering an area of about 250,000 square meters.
