The nunchaku is a two-handed and one-handed dance, and the two-handed dance is really a bit difficult, and it requires coordination between the left and right sides of the stick. If you say one-handed is difficult, I think there are two possibilities
One, you are still practicing too short or not the way to do it, single-stick dance flower is a relatively beginner's movement, I take the students in the 5th lesson to start contact with the dance flower.
Two, your stick is not quite right. Dancing Flowers is a performance routine and requires a performance stick. My recommendation is to use a stainless steel performance stick of about 250g, which is light, nice and flexible.
Give you a good suggestion, I figured it out myself, never the same: one of the ends of the towel tied in a knot, holding the other end can be used as a nunchaku contact. This will overcome the psychological fear.
Then I'll tell you about some of the tutorial videos, search for "Li Yutao" in Youku, which is the most systematic nunchaku video tutorial I've seen in the past 5 years.
These are my own words, and I think I have a point, so please take it, and if you have any questions, please follow up
