The Cruise Ball, an experience I've always dreamed of, was finally realized at the Shanghai Lindy Hop. It was clear that every dancer enjoyed this unique experience. A cruise ship traveling on the Huangpu River, filled with a boat full of dancers in gorgeous costumes, listening to the music of a century ago, dancing. I traveled back in time with them to the "Golden Age". All day and all night, no one cared about passing by the Pearl of the Orient, the Bund and other beautiful scenery, and no one felt that the tilted hull of the ship had any influence on the dance, and their minds were all on the dance. The two particularly stylish teams of beautiful women showed up, and the roots jazz solo performances by Mr. Beibei and Mr. Wanyuan were like a time portal, pulling everyone from reality into the golden age of video tapes.

December 26th , Head Horse Annual Party. Because of the time, the time in the dance part was very limited. During the session of leading the experiential class, a lot of people were talking non-stop and many of them were just watching as well, resulting in a poor experience as a whole. A few of the band's songs were just too fast and physical to dance to. However, I was able to use some of the new changes I learned at the Shanghai Lindy Hop Festival to make myself dance differently from my previous self during the Social session.
This year has been a year of maturity and change for SK, and also a year of slow learning and breaking through bottlenecks for myself. For most of the time, my own energy was how to organize swing dance activities and manage the organization, dancing for more than a year, but not much progress. When I went to the Shanghai Lindy Hop Festival, I found that dancers from other cities who had been studying at the same time as myself were making rapid progress, but I was stuck at the same stage I was at when I had been studying for half a year, and I didn't even know what to do. You want to keep organizing and planning and you'll get better, but it doesn't make any substantial progress in your own learning of swing dancing.
For a variety of reasons, a series of unexpected things happened, and coffee quarrel, SK organization team disbanded, SK by Andy and Nana management, coffee was kicked out of SK ...... the whole process, their own state of mind several times to become extremely poor, almost to lose interest in dancing, the swing dance of the meaning to question.

The SK under Andy and Nana's management was more focused on the dance itself, with a stronger passion for swing dancing and more opportunities to meet dancers from outside the city. With more time and energy to focus on the dance themselves, the love of swing dancing has become purer.
