If you are a post 60s facing retirement soon, how would you go about planning your retirement?

If I were a post-60s facing retirement soon, then I would go about planning my retirement life in the following way. When I retire, the first thing that comes to my mind is to travel to faraway places because that's something I've always wanted to do. Apart from traveling, I would also do things that interest me in my daily life so that I can make every day a happier one. I can also help with the grandchildren if my own son has already had a baby and needs help with the grandchildren.

I. Traveling

Because I'm busy with my work now, I often don't have time to travel far away from home, so that means I've always wanted to travel far away from home. So if I were to retire, then I would definitely travel around. As long as I have enough energy, as long as I have enough money, I will go to more places and see more of the world. Because the world is very big, if it's just limited to China, then it's too narrow, I am willing to go to foreign countries to see.

II. Find something that interests you

Besides traveling, you definitely need something to do in your daily life, otherwise you'll be very bored. So I'm likely to find something I'm interested in doing, and I'll get involved in some of these interest groups. If I fall in love with Tai Chi, then I will do Tai Chi every day. If I like photography, then I'll take pictures. If I like fishing, then it's fishing. Anyway, no matter what, I'll always find a thing I like to do myself.

III. Bringing up grandchildren

If my child gave birth to a grandchild and I was needed to bring it up, then I would likewise be willing to do so. Because my own children may be busy at work, it would be great to take some of the pressure off of them in that case. But if I don't have to bring up my own grandchildren, then I do prefer it because I can go and do what I want to do.
