A Youduo was awarded the first place in the Guizhou region of the "Meet the New Century Ethnic and Folk Singers Selection Competition" organized by the State People's Committee. She was born into an ordinary Miao family in Dazhai Village, Gulong Town, Huangping County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, known as "the world of song and the ocean of dance". Since she was a child, she loved to sing. Whether she was walking home from school or herding cows or haying pigs on the slope, she would pester her sisters in the same village to learn to sing. With a good understanding and a naturally sweet voice, Ayudo gradually became a famous local Miao singer. Later, under the guidance of the teacher, Ayudo always won the first place in every school singing competition, and thus step by step towards the singing world.
