When traveling and square dancing have become the pleasures of the "young", what is the life of an old man in his 80s or 90s? What is the life of an old man in his eighties or nineties? But this is certainly not the chief physician of the Heilongjiang Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the first national medical master Zhang Qi wants to live. 95-year-old Zhang Qi, the axis of the day around the hospital, the center of gravity staring at the patient, as usual, out to see the patient, teaching Chinese medicine students, lecturing ...... as in the past 75 years. "My father this person ah, all his life can not throw away the patient. As long as the patient has the need, he will not be idle." Zhang Qi's daughter and colleague Zhang Peiqing said.
Zhang Qi's career as a doctor was a result of both family tradition and talent: at the age of 6, Zhang Qi was able to sing the introductory works of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) "Tangtou Gezhi" (Song of the Soup Head), "Pharmacognosy" (Fugue of the Medicine), "Pulse Gezhi" (Record of the Pulse) as a children's song, etc. At the age of 16, he wandered into the Northeast China under the Japanese colonial rule and served as a pharmacist apprentice, while insisting on learning to practise medicine in his spare time. At the age of 20, Zhang Qi started practicing medicine and cured a patient of high fever that had not been cured for a long time, which made him famous in the countryside. After the founding of New China, Zhang Qi was transferred to the Heilongjiang Province School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (the predecessor of the Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine), and actively cultivated the backbone of traditional Chinese medicine in Heilongjiang Province. 1957, he participated in the preparation of one of the earliest provincial Chinese medicine research institutes in China - Heilongjiang Provincial Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (now Heilongjiang Provincial Chinese Medicine Academy of Sciences) and has worked here since then. He has been working here since then.
Reading the classics, doing clinical work, and treating stubborn diseases. This is from the medical 75 years, Zhang Qi's biggest hobby. The first time I saw him, I was so happy to see him, and I was so happy to see him, and I was so happy to see him. Look at the name of the patients with difficult and complicated diseases after their own treatment satisfaction and return, Zhang Qi think those days of hard reading medical books in fact extra sweet: "Chinese medicine classic content may seem boring, but there are really good things to focus on learning while practicing to read the book applied to the clinic, effective will feel that Chinese medicine 'have flavor! ', it drilled in, drilled in more willing to learn ......"
Zhang Qi is best known for his diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease. He introduced, in the early 1960s, he served as director of the hospital's internal medicine research department, originally wanted to study coronary heart disease, but at that time people were living in difficult conditions, not a few cases a year down, on the contrary, found many patients with chronic nephritis. Kidney disease is a "poor disease", the more poor and tired people are more likely to suffer. Looking at the patients in pain on the bed, Zhang Qi decided to focus on the diagnosis and treatment here. After repeated reference to the canonical books, discussions with colleagues, clinical speculation, he through the new use of the ancient formula, figured out the treatment of chronic nephritis formula "plus flavor clear heart lotus seed drink", and in the clinic to achieve outstanding results. Subsequently, he studied modern medical knowledge on the one hand, and conducted systematic clinical and scientific research on kidney disease on the other hand, and creatively used multi-targeted generous re-treatment method to treat intractable diseases such as chronic renal failure, which was quite effective and won many awards.
Not only research to overcome the "poor disease", Zhang Qi is also always sympathetic to the "poor friends", hanging on the lips of the words is "medical heart no noble or lowly": whether it is a senior cadres, or ordinary workers, peasants, he has been the first time in the world. Or ordinary workers, farmers, he was treated equally. Field patients did not hang up the number, even if it has come to the end of the day, he will not say anything to the number; patients with the home or cut off on the road, he is also a pleasant reception, never bored; letters, calls to patients, always seriously reply; gentle Zhang Qi set up a family rules, patients to his home to see him, not to think that the rural people are dirty, and not allowed to lie that they are not at home.
In his old age, Zhang Qi admits that there are always times when he can't do what he wants to do. For example, in interviews, he had to wear a hearing aid. The reporter asked questions, and occasionally could not hear clearly, he was like a child repeatedly stressed that "the country, the patient gave me such a great honor, I as long as I can still do a little more". These words and actions convey the unchanging heart of this doctor. (
