A happy winter vacation is coming to an end. Just when I was worried about not being able to play in my hometown for a few more days, my little brother ran into the yard and shouted loudly: "There is going to be a social fire in the village." Come on!" What makes me even more excited is that my little brother and I will participate in one of the Shehuo programs - the fan dance, and we will also go to nearby villages to perform. My "sorrow" immediately flew away from the sky.
After several rehearsals, everyone has basically mastered the skills of the movements. So, when night fell on the sixth day of the first lunar month, our "performing army" set off on the highway. In addition to children, young people, and old people, the children ran forward and backward after the lions in the social fire team. The adults watching the excitement were also talking loudly, and their joy was self-evident.
Normally, nights in the countryside are relatively quiet, but tonight the deafening sound of gongs and drums replaced the tranquility of the past. In the pitch-black night, the torches illuminated people's faces brightly. I don't know who shouted: "Why don't you leave?" Oh, it turns out that people from the neighboring village are welcoming us!
The performance has begun. First, the tall and majestic lion ran across the field—making the onlookers step back to make way for the performance. Two big lions and a little lion were running and jumping in the open space, fighting for the hydrangeas, which attracted bursts of cheers and the atmosphere suddenly became lively.
It was our turn to perform the fan dance. Although my movements were not very skillful, no one laughed at me. Next came the little girls carrying lanterns. The little hydrangeas on the lanterns danced during the singing and dancing performances of the little girls. It was really beautiful.
Look, the boat girl dressed as a woman comes on stage. Sometimes he rows the boat as if he is moving forward on calm water, and sometimes he seems to be trapped in a vortex. The boat trapped in the vortex overcomes difficulties and obstacles. Moving forward smoothly again... The lifelike performance makes it difficult to tell the truth from the false.
Finally, the big brothers who played the role of big-headed dolls came on stage. Their naive and funny performance made everyone present laugh and bend their waists.
The performance is over, and my heart is full of joy, but more of an attachment to my hometown.
