Basic gymnastics practice methods

In the teaching of basic gymnastics, adopting a variety of practice methods can stimulate students' enthusiasm for practice and improve the quality and effect of practice.

1. Step-by-step exercise method: that is, there is a pause between the paragraphs of the whole set of gymnastics, and the movements of each paragraph are connected separately. Often used when learning a new set of exercises.

2. Step-by-step practice method: divide gymnastics into several sections, practice the movements of each section first, and finally connect the movements of each section into a complete set of movements. It is often used when memorizing in segments or improving the quality of movements.

3. Continuous practice method: that is, from the first quarter to the last quarter, the whole set of gymnastics practice is completed continuously without interruption. Generally, it is used when the whole set of movements is more skilled or the physical load increases.

4. Cumulative exercise method: that is, from the first section, practice once in each section, and then practice once in conjunction with the previous section until the whole set of gymnastics is completed in turn. It is often used to improve the ability of contact and cooperation with complete sets of movements.

5. Symmetrical exercise method: that is, students do symmetrical exercises in position, direction and action methods according to the left and right roads or the front and rear rows. It is often used to improve the interest, difficulty and cooperation ability of practice after being proficient in movements.
