The Legend of Wu Zetian is a costume historical drama directed by Gao Yijun. The drama stars Fan Bingbing, Zhang Fengyi, Li Zhiting, Zhang Junning, Zhang Ting and Zhou Haimei.

The drama portrays a brand new, demonized Wu Zetian. It has a new and unique perspective compared to the previous works about Wu Zetian. The story is told from Wu Zetian's upbringing in her hometown to her power struggle after she entered the palace at the age of 14.
