Anfu Township is located in the north of Qin 'an County, with an area of 106.87(94.7) square kilometers and a population of 8259 households with 36870 people (at the end of 2008). It has jurisdiction over Anfu, Michael Chen, Fuwan, Xia Ji, Jiwa, Dujiaxian, Zhu Xia, Mawan, Wan Xin, Yang Si, Goumen, Liugou, Fuwa, An Chuan, Liuwa, Gongchuan, Wan Jian, Lee Ha, Yangxia, Songwan, Duwanli, Dazhuang, Yangshan and Weifen. The township government is located in Anfu village, which is 0/6 kilometers away from the county seat/kloc-.
It belongs to the gully terrain of loess plateau, half mountain and half Sichuan township. The altitude is between 1300- 1800 meters, with an average altitude of 1550 meters. Hulu River runs through the eastern edge and southeast of the township, forming a canyon. The canyon is deep and narrow, with cliffs on both sides. After leaving the canyon, it is Anfu Valley Basin. The Lotus Leaf Highway on Provincial Highway 304 runs through the whole territory. Scenic spots include Yangjiamiao, Zhujiaxia and Liujiagudui.
