The origin of the ****Youth League song:
There have been three times in the history of the League to collect the League song.In 1987, a nationwide collection of several hundred songs was made, and after soliciting the opinions of all sectors of the community, and then by the expert evaluation, 11 On May 8, 1988, the Twelfth National Congress of the China ****ist Youth League passed the Resolution on Determining the Song of the League, deciding that "Glorious, China **** Youth League" (Hu Hongwei's lyrics, Lei Yusheng's music) would be the song of the China ****ist Youth League. On June 13, 2008, the 16th National Congress of the China***ist Youth League designated it as the anthem of the China***ist Youth League.
Then 34-year-old Hu Hongwei, who has been engaged in professional songwriting since 1978 in the Shenyang Military Region Forward Song and Dance Troupe, had just returned to work after graduating from the Department of Music and Literature Specialization at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music.

Then the composer Lei Yusheng, deputy director of the Liaoning Opera House and head of the Liaoning Orchestra, saw the lyrics and thought they were very well written, a vigorous war song, and decided to compose a song for the lyrics. On October 13, 1987, China Youth Daily published 10 candidate works for the Youth League song, selected from 5,300 songs in the nation, with Hu Hongwei's lyrics and Lei Yusheng's music, "Glorious ah, China's **** Youth League," in first place. Later, the Central Committee of the Youth League determined ten works as the finalist songs. Through the national youth learning and singing, voting again, this song won the first place, at the same time with another shortlisted songs and as a group song candidate songs submitted to the **** Youth League Twelfth Congress discussion.
