The state protects wild plants and their growing environment. It is forbidden for any unit or individual to illegally collect wild plants or destroy their growing environment.
It belongs to the native wild plants, which are common in the mountainous and hilly environments in the central and southern as well as the southwestern regions of China, and is also defined as an acidic soil indicator plant because of its high soil requirements, which is only suitable for growing in the acidic or slightly acidic soil environments that are rich in organic matter. Although it is not listed as a national second-class protected plant like Xing'an azalea, it is also one of the national "three" wild protected plants, also belongs to the beneficial, economically important, scientific research value of wild plants.
