Ambassador Representative

Character Evaluation

Park Yoochun is a representative of the South Korean acting circle who is both a singer and a performer (Tencent.com review). He is a low-key, down-to-earth, easy-going (Lee Da Hae), unpretentious (Kim Yoon Suk) young man who has a clear goal and proves himself to be a pure force with his actions (Son Hyun Jo). He has a deep and broad mind (by Yoo Ah In), knows how to be considerate and take care of the people around him (by Yoon Eun Hye), and has a maturity that belies his age (by Jung Yeo Mi and Lee Da Hae).

He is a singer in a singing group who is excellent in both vocals and emotional performance, a talented lyricist and composer (reviewed by Sina.com), and is recognized for his creative talent (reviewed by Xinhua.com).

As an actor, he has the basic qualities to be a good actor, and can digest the appearance (commented by director Bong Joon-ho), voice and vocal skills (commented by director Kim Won-seok) of many characters. At the same time, Park Yoo-chun has a passion for acting (by writer Kim Tae-hee), and his acting has the same subtlety and depth as any leading actor (by director Shin Kyung-soo). Park Yoochun is not limited to the role of a pretty boy (by director Yoon Sung-ho), but is constantly expanding his acting skills (by Sina.com). His emotional, funny, tearful, and action-oriented acting, as well as his ability to understand and express his role in the drama, have been well received by the industry and the public, breaking the prejudice that many people have against actors who are singers (Jung Ryeo-won's review), and has been recognized as a successful benchmark for singers who have transformed into actors (Sina.com's review).

"I've seen that Park Yoochun has taken his acting skills to another level this time. He used to be a singer and started acting since then, and in fact, he had the image of a singer at that time, but now he is acting steadily with 'actor' written on his face. I would like to try acting in a BuddyMovie or a detective movie with him." (Park Seung-woong's comments)

"I'm glad that our movie industry has gained such a great movie actor. " (Comment by director Bong Joon-ho).

"He has experience in handling things independently beyond his age, is not a young master growing up in a greenhouse, and has performed well in both acting and co-production." (Director Shim Sung-bo's review)

"Park Yoo-chun is good material that can go on in the movie industry for a long time. Although he is an idol star, he blends in with the scene very well, and is unexpectedly mischievous, playing tricks on the adults. He is an actor who sucks up water like a sponge, and this is not only in movies and singing, etc., but even in people, so you can say that he is a child-like person who can play with older people, and as far as I know he is not a hothouse-grown flower, but one who grew up with suffering, and his expression is a bit ethereal to see it, and he is someone who doesn't know what it's like to be nervous. "(Commented by Kim Yoon-seok)

"He has known for a long time how not to exert himself in acting, it usually takes ten years to learn not to exert himself in dramas, and the same is true in martial arts acting, without realizing it, he got the hang of it, and is a very smart and clever actor." (Kim Sang-ho's comment)

"Although You Tian has acted in many dramas, he was still known as a singer before watching 'Sea Mist', but after seeing it, You Tian's acting was really so good that it surprised me, "Is this friend supposed to be acting this well?", and he digested the role perfectly. " (Commented by Lee Jung Jae)

"I had expected him to win the award. I had heard that Yoochun acted very well (Jin Goo is too young to watch Sea Mist at the age of 18), so I'm happy to say hello to Yoochun."" Really thought he worked very hard. When I saw the poster, I couldn't even recognize my brother, so it's obvious how much he got into the drama." (Commented by Yoo Jin Goo)

"He is not aware of the positive energy he has. Although I have no prejudice against actors who come from singers, I always feel that there is a difference from my friends who continue to act; and he really looks like an actor. He is like a younger brother that I want to take care of more, and I am thankful to be a handsome actor. Unexpectedly idol friends are innocent, even in a position where they can get a lot of things, they can still be so innocent." (Review by Kang Hye-jung)

The actor was highly praised for reaching a grand slam in his first movie. (Commented by Kim Hye-soo)

"Yoochun's mastery in both action and comedy is very surprising" (Commented by Jang Hyun-seong)

"I was really surprised by his ability to shoot action scenes. The explosive power and psychological performance that he showed by immediately understanding the situation between the characters and the characters is also outstanding" "The performance of overflowing emotions and tears at the bazaar made me feel that Park Yoochun is a man with tears" (Director Shin Kyung Soo's review)

"I was surprised by his ability to shoot action scenes. (Director Shin Kyung-soo's comment)

"It doesn't feel like he's a singer at all, and he's very smooth with the drama; especially his attitude towards acting is very good. I was especially impressed by his ability to act with ease and grace" (commented by Jung Chan-woo)

"An actor with a human touch who leads by example and takes care of others first at all times. Every action is well thought out and it's not a pity to _praise_ him. Romance, comedy, and even action acting are digested freely without any reluctance" (Lee Won Seed's review)

"He has only acted in dramas before, but he is also performing well with acting skills that fit the big screen. Although he has played many roles as a nobleman, he showed excellent acting skills as an old crew member in 'Sea Mist'. Especially the expression at the end was great! "

"After the smooth road of dramas, he made his big screen debut with success. An actor's root heart must be kind to flow so naturally and instinctively in a movie, which is exactly what an actor like Park Yoochun does; Park Yoochun's straight line charisma that is beautiful and imposing and straightforward, and the curved line charisma that is gentle and compassionate are ****ing coexisting." (Korean Film Critics Association Award)

"He has become the most anticipated movie actor for his delicate portrayal of the varied and generous emotional changes in the movie." (Reviewed by Korea Beautiful Artist Award)
