Gana Mani City, located in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, within the village of Xinzhai, was built in 1715 AD, is more than 300 years ago by the Tibetan Buddhist monk Gana Dodin Sangchubayong created, the founder of the Jiegu Monastery of the first Gana living Buddha Zongchubayong, so it is also known as the "Gana Mani Pile".
