Said by: Yan Shu of Song Dynasty.
The path is red and thin, and the fragrance is green. The trees on the high platform are gloomy. The spring breeze is not lifted, and it is foggy and chaotic.
The emerald leaves hide the warbler, and the bamboo curtain separates the swallow. The incense of the stove is still spinning. When a sad dream woke up, the setting sun shone deeply in the courtyard.
Translation:
Red flowers on the roadside are becoming scarce, but the countryside is occupied by lush grass, and the tree-lined high-rise pavilions are looming. Spring breeze doesn't know how to control the catkins of poplars, making them confused and confused.
The oriole is hidden in the green leaves, the swallow is separated from the outside world by a red curtain, and the fragrance of the stove rises like a hairspring. When I woke up from a sad dream of drunkenness, the sunset set obliquely in the deep courtyard.
The expansion alliance of Buddhist monasteries won more than a hundred years of peace and prosperity in the Song Dynasty, and the ancestral training of not killing literati gave the literati the highest courtesy and safety in the Song Dynasty. In such an era of peace and prosperity, literati and poets grow freely and have a calm heart. Political stability and economic prosperity enable the author to enjoy the boring time in life quietly, observe the subtle things in the universe and write poems.
This poem is about the leisure in late spring. The suburban scenery in the first part contains a touch of leisure, which shows the breath of spring in nature to the fullest. The second part writes the spring scenery around him, further paving the way for sorrow and expressing the poet's helplessness and sadness in the face of the hasty passage of time.
The whole poem focuses on scenery, showing its profound beauty and implicit charm with clear images and hazy themes.
