Is Sanya suitable for traveling in August?
Not really, but with fewer tourists, it's still great.
August Sanya Travel Guide
In fact, I want to go to Sanya in August because the weather in Sanya in March this year is not satisfactory. In the previous summer vacation, I was usually busy in the store, receiving travelers from all over the world, and definitely waiting on the rooftop to watch the sunset every day has satisfied me with the hot summer days.
With the clear skies of summer, I couldn't help but want to visit Sanya in this particularly hot weather. I want to accept the baptism of the sun, meet Sanya, Sanya should be very blue.
I think the symptom of getting older is best reflected in this year's journey, that is, at the beginning, I don't want to travel alone, but I can't always meet the right people to hang out with. Eventually, the desire to start still gets to me, so let's do it. What about being alone?
My first time seeing the ocean? Well, there was no concept of it at all. It's only a five-minute walk from my house to the beach. Growing up, I ran a seafood stand on the beach. I had to come to the store every summer to help out, but even so, I was excited to see the beautiful ocean.
As I grew up, I learned to drive a motorcycle and often rode it along our coastal access road for a ride along the coastline. But the sea in Fujian is, after all, an inland sea, and I've always longed for the blue sea of Sanya.
So came this short journey.
1day1Quanzhou - Sanya - Crowne Plaza Hotel - Japanese food
2day2Wuzhizhou - the back of the sea - Begonia Global Gourmet Hainanese private dishes - back to the city
3day3Yalong Bay - Dongrong food court coconut chicken - -Back to the city -Hidden Drunken Bar
4day4Sanya-Quanzhou
Wuzhizhou is the dream island in my heart, no doubt about it.
I came here for Wuzhizhou, but I didn't have to go to the island. It depends entirely on the weather. I woke up at 6am and had breakfast at the hotel. The sun crept up, but it looked a bit cloudy. When I thought about it, I had no problem buying tickets on site if the weather was good.
Getting on the bus, it took about an hour to get from downtown Sanya to Wuzhizhou Jetty. The buses in Sanya are very convenient and you can get to almost all the attractions you want to visit. Just use the Alipay ride code.
Wearing headphones, I was listening to a song and fell asleep again in a daze. When I woke up, the sun was shining outside the window. When I got out of the car, the sky was out of my expectation. It was so clear and cloudy and colorful that I couldn't make it to the island.
Then I grabbed my phone and placed an order directly on the app for a ticket around the island and a battery ticket. This is a business card of Wuzhizhou Sanya. Although it is only 1.48 square kilometers, its coastline is 5.7 kilometers long. As far as I'm concerned, where there are battery cars, of course, you must take a bus to play.
But many people come to Wuzhizhou not for the roundabout, but for its marine program. You can dive on Wuzhizhou, take a motorboat ride, take you on a speedboat trip to the sea. Parasol towing - and other more exciting games - let you fly freely on the sea.
However, I came here more for the beautiful scenery. The beautiful scenery of the island was enough for me to see. I chose the deluxe tour around the island, with different stops for different price levels of the tram. The one I chose has four stops, which are the points that the tram passes through. You can all get off or get on at any time, regardless of playtime.
About 20 minutes after the boat left the pier, we docked at Wuzhizhou and boarded the island. It was really hot in August, but I was brave enough not to take an umbrella.
The powder-blue water and snow-white sand of Wuzhizhou gave me my first impression of such a fantastic beach. I couldn't help but set up my tripod and start taking selfies. My cell phone chose to take a 2-second selfie, which quickly revealed itself when I pressed the shutter. Well, I can take good pictures even when I go out alone.
Wuzhizhou was better than I expected, probably because the clouds and sky on this day were just awesome! It had the feeling of Bali looking at the sea. No wonder Wuzhizhou is called "China Maldives". The clear and transparent sea water is so refreshing. I think it's worth it even if you're exposed to the sun.
This is the Lover's Bridge, a popular spot on the Internet that many people visit in Wuzhizhou. The earliest Lover's Bridge was a rope bridge. It is best to hold each other's hands when crossing the bridge, so it is also called "Lover's Bridge". I don't know if you can become a lover with your beloved one.
On the other side of the pier is the entrance to the underwater walkway. I always feel like I really don't want to visit the marine program alone, so I don't even think about it. I'd better go around the island.
What Deadwood does is happy. May your life always be as fun as you think it can be?
On the other side of the ocean is the Coral Hotel, right next to the check-in desk for the electric tour bus. Along the way, there are many colorful carts selling all kinds of things you may need to buy during your trip, such as ice creams and freshly squeezed juices, which are essential summer items.
Boarding the electric cart, we came to the first drop-off point, the beach, which was soft. There was a place to change our clothes. If you bring a bathing suit, you might as well swim in the ocean and get some sun. Very enjoyable.
There are helicopters to experience in Wuzhizhou, oh my.
The water in Wuzhizhou gradually changes color, just like jelly. Woah~Woah~Woah~ stirs up the waves and makes you feel happy.
There are gentle sandy beaches and comfortable beach chairs. When you are tired of swimming, you can rest here for a while. There is a place with a small reef next to it. It is still safe to swim in the sea.
Wait for the bus at the designated place, the electric buses on the island are running. You can get on the bus if you don't count the time. Because of the wind and waves, we missed an Ocean Star and went straight to the next point, Sunscape Rock. This was a good point. Standing on this cliff southeast of Wuzhizhou, the vastness of the South China Sea is right in front of you. It's also the best place to see the sunrise.
This is the golden turtle exploring the sea. Nature has carved this boulder into a large turtle, which is still very evocative today.
Creating a dreamy image of water vapor in the Valley of Lovers. After a short walk, get ready to go to Lover's Island. The highlight was the road from Lover's Valley to Lover's Island. Simply beautiful. There are all kinds of weathered fossils, flying rocks, pregnant women rocks. Only I was sitting in the car and only got this one shot of the South China Sea or Hainan.
There are a lot of props in the background of the photo on Lover's Island. The sea is still in different shades of blue, but there are some coral reefs in this sea. The two big rocks in front of us are like two isolated islands that have been facing each other. Maybe so, that's why it's called Lover's Island.
Whenever the weather is good, Wuzhizhou is great for taking photos. Clouds are constantly changing, and the best blue sky at the moment is its best stage. I read a lot of tips before I went to the island, including eating Japanese food with Kevin when I first arrived yesterday, and he also said that there is too much hidden consumption in Wuzhizhou.
I just wanted to take a picture, so of course I won't be trapped, but you really don't want to just sign up for a day trip, lest you get in the way of the tour guide's conversation and end up going to a sea project you don't want to play. Of course, if you're already grabbing the program, you'll feel good about it.
When you leave Lover's Island, the staff will give you a leaf-vein bookmark as a souvenir. For the luxury tour around the island, you can also have a cup of gai tea at a small teahouse next to the Mazu Temple. With boiling water on the table, you can take a good rest on the island and move on to the next step.
When we reached the A-Ma Temple, the tour around the island was coming to an end. Seeing the clouds getting darker in the distance, I thought we should hurry up.
The biggest reason I like traveling alone is that I can be free. I don't care if my fellow travelers want to have fun or eat this and that. But it's really lonely. Although a tripod gives me beautiful selfies, it's really heavy. Luckily, I had beautiful weather and saw Wuzhizhou in my mind. I was very satisfied.
Warm tips:
Landing time is from 08:00 to 16:00,
Departure time is from 08:30 to 18:30,
There is a boat every 20 minutes, the sailing time is about 20 minutes.
Usually there should be a queue, but summer vacation is the off-season in Sanya, so there was almost no queue for this round trip to the island.
The deluxe round-the-island tour was 138 yuan and the entrance fee was 136 yuan. Given the weather I encountered, I give Wuzhizhou full marks for being worth a visit.
The island is a bit expensive. The closest large place to eat is probably Haitang 68 Global Food Street. I chose Hainan Private Kitchen this time and asked them to process the seafood for me. The flavor is very good.
Houhai, Sanya's secret place, surfer's paradise.
I always indulge myself during the trip. Last time, because of a graffiti picture in Lao Xing's friend circle, I had to find it anyway. Houhai, also known as Tenghai West Village, is hidden by Wuzhizhou Pier. You can take a public **** bus from downtown and get off at Wuzhizhou Pier. The weather was really bad when I came back, so I just punched the bus and left.
This time, we have to do it again. This surfing paradise known as Sanya is also a secret place where many young people come. It's a treasure, not too many people and the water is quite clear. I feel like it's not so easy to find this sea after two visits. Most of us have to go through someone else's store to get this far.
Just picked a guest house on the beach and a cold beer was my lunch. Didn't eat anything in Wuzhizhou, but it's time to eat. Let's have a beer.
The clouds that had just clouded over had come overhead and it was raining. My heart was still happy as I faced the sea to hide from the rain. Luckily, I met a very beautiful Takeshi no Boat this morning, and it was very satisfying.
It was a thunderstorm. After a downpour, the rain stopped and the sun was still shining. Those who were surfing should be happy. After all, a short storm could bring them more exciting waves.
Suddenly, the next time I come to Sanya, I must stay in this village for a few days, just to have a glass of beer facing the sea and count the waves.
The backwaters of the sea have another catchy name, Queen's Bay, and Queen's Bay is a small bay. The day I arrived, the sun was setting on the other side of the mountain. I thought Houhai would be a good place to watch the sunrise. In retrospect, it was.
In Sanya, you have to watch the sunset at Sanya Bay and Dandonghai, and then the sunrise at Haitang Bay and Queen's Bay, and Houhai is a good place to watch the sunrise in Sanya.
The Houhai is also a village. In addition to sightseeing, you can also eat and drink. It also has some lovely stores with walls painted in fantastic colors, as well as bars, grocery stores and seaside inns. It has pretty much everything a traveler needs in this village.
The best thing about the backwaters is the surfing. There are surf clubs all over the village, which has spawned a tourist rental business. You can find a reliable surf instructor here and spend three to five days learning the joys of surfing.
68 Haitang Global Food Street, look for Hainan Private Cuisine.
In fact, I fought back my hunger and drank only one draft beer just to wait for dinner. As the only place in Haitang Bay that can be considered to have food, 68 Haitang Bay Global Food Street is definitely a card anyway.
Take a taxi directly from Houhai to Haitang 68 Global Food Street. At first glance, I saw a wide range of dishes. I started with KFC, imprinted in my eyes. Well, stop, don't always go to a new place and eat fried chicken if you don't know what to eat.
I came to Hainan for seafood! So the huge letters of the seafood supermarket appeared in front of my eyes, and I couldn't wait to go in and choose seafood! Lobster is a typical aquatic product in Sanya, but the flower music in front of me is my favorite. Let's pick two first. And the fresh abalone, two more.
I probably picked 2 flower buds, 1 grouper, 2 abalone, a mango snail and a shrimp. Guess how much? 200 bucks, my god, it's so cheap. This seafood supermarket is really nice. It's more formal. Drain it before weighing and selling it. The prices are clearly labeled and there is a wide variety of seafood to choose from.
It's hard to know where to go when you're carrying a bunch of seafood on your back. The whole street is full of processing stores. At this point, I fancy the Hainan private kitchen in front of me. Once inside, their home actually offers a variety of practices, from Sichuan to Cantonese, from Qiong to Hunan. Depending on what you want to eat seafood will satisfy you.
Well, this is your home. You can also stop by and try Hainanese cuisine. Hainan's four famous dishes are Wenchang chicken, Dongshan goat, Jiajia duck and Lehe crab. Since I bought a lot of seafood, I ordered half a hoagie Wenchang chicken.
Hainan private dining environment is very Hainanese, tropical feeling, bamboo enclosure, hemp rope chandelier and so on, all very Li style. Also in the store ordered pickled cuttlefish, eat spicy and fresh, and bamboo rice, is also very Hainan specialties.
Hao is the name of the chef. Normal Wenchang chicken tends to be cut in white. Theirs does look a bit like steak chicken. The chicken tastes a bit Q but still tender and not burnt. It has a special flavor.
I chose to buy seafood one by one in different ways, with processed prices clearly marked. The steamed abalone was fan-cooked at just the right temperature. The abalone meat was not tough at all.
Steamed sea bass, as long as the seafood is fresh enough, the steamed is delicious. This time, I chose the flavor of spicy crab, which is also very good.
Stir-fried mango conch is also very tasty, very flavorful. After the meal also ordered coconut milk cooling, which is the most memorable dessert in Hainan. The family ate well.
Warm tips: Hainan private dining often requires queuing. If you can avoid eating, you will have a better eating experience. When you go out after eating, there is already a long line at the door.
Strolling around Haitang 68 Global Food Street is great. With a meal ticket you can take a free shuttle bus, only Begonia North Road, I was going to go to Sanya duty free store, save a taxi money. (The bus stop is right here at this coconut chicken.)
Yalong Bay, lying on a beach chair for the day
haven't been to Yalong Bay, check online what's fun in Yalong Bay? Last time I was in Sanya, I stayed at Haitang Bay. I know there are many hotels around here and I know that Houhai is in Haitang Bay, but Yalong Bay has never been involved. I don't know what that is.
When I took a bus to Yalong Bay National Tourist Resort, I found the sea so beautiful. Yalong Bay is a crescent bay, first called Yalong Bay and later called Yalong Bay. The word "Yalong Bay" is a Li language, which is related to the sand of this bay. It describes the sand as white as jade, and it still looks white as jade.
The place where you get off is the Baihua Valley Leisure Square, facing the sea. It is the Totem Culture Square. Here you can see the sea water in the distance in several different shades of blue, super nice.
Totem Square is the landmark of Yalong Bay. It is 26.8 meters high and is carved with patterns of dragons, phoenixes, birds, fish, wind, rain and lightning.
You can walk directly to the sea at Totem Culture Square. This section has 7 kilometers of silver-white sandy beach, which is very comfortable to walk on. The whole beach is almost free of garbage, so amenable to strong. I heard that once upon a time the beaches in Yalong Bay were private beaches belonging to high-class hotels, but in recent years they have been almost open to tourists.
Public **** into the sea more, tourists into the hotel can reach the beach, will not be embarrassed, the beach lounge chairs can be used to rest when you are tired.
Yalong Bay can carry out many water sports, such as diving, motorboats and other water sports. Directly on the shore, there are many sheds built by locals, so you can make an appointment with the locals and choose what you want to play.
One of the eight most beautiful coastlines in China, the "First Bay of the World" Yalong Bay ranks first. I think the year-round tropical oceanic climate should be the biggest reason why it ranks first. On Yalong Bay, the beach is very gentle and the water is crystal clear.
If you have enough money in your pocket, you can choose a resort hotel in Yalong Bay and spend a few days facing the sea in spring.
Of course, there is not only the sea in Yalong Bay, but also the Tropical Paradise Forest Park in Yalong Bay. Hiking and outdoor sports are available in the forest park, showing that Yalong Bay has not only the sea but also mountains. It is a great experience to go from the blue sandy beach to the green forest.
There are a lot of umbrellas set up by the locals along the shore, maybe to see the fun, or to avoid accidents, or just to do more business, but standing on the beach in such a hot day. Whatever the reason, these umbrellas are a bright landscape in Yalong Bay.
Still the jelly-like sea water makes you want to hide in his arms. Fine sand is comfortable to step on, and only such a hot day can present such a beautiful blue sea.
Now Yalong Bay is famous on World Street, as famous as Hawaii, Bali, Phuket and other top coasts. On this afternoon, I was sound asleep on the sofa, immersed in this beautiful beach, unable to extricate myself.
Internet celebrity Coconut Chicken, Principal Wang's three-brush restaurant, or would you like to come over and check it out?
In other words, I moved slowly all the way from Yalong Bay Plaza to the Sheraton Hotel. When it was time to eat, I picked up my cell phone and searched. I recently found out there was a Dong Rong food court, which was so perfect for me. I had to eat quickly.
Now sometimes when I'm on the road looking for a place to eat, I still look at the must-eat list. After all, a must-eat list is only finalized once a year, so it's unlikely that you'll have time to step on mines. I saw another Coconut Chicken in Dong Rong food court, and remembered that I saw it yesterday in Begonia 68 Global Food Street, and there were a bunch of people waiting at the door.
Accidentally, I came to the third floor. As it happens, there were probably not that many people coming to eat at noon, and eating at an online celebrity's place is a great thing to do, with little to no queuing.
I heard that Coconut Chicken is Wang Sicong's favorite chicken and coconut store. He even swiped the coconut chicken I don't know how many times. It's my first time here, maybe I can meet this amazing person. Of course they have a store in Begonia Bay besides the one I saw yesterday, and now the Sanya Bay store and the downtown store are in the pipeline and will be opening soon!
I have to say that the coconut chicken has a superb value and there are coconut chicken giveaways at the door. I just looked at it and wanted to take it home, so cute.
Coconut's décor is simple, with a green background and brown chairs that look comfortable in the color scheme. Other than that, it's such a hot day, let's have a bowl to cool down first. As a Hainanese snack that can reduce fire and replenish qi and blood, cool is an indispensable thing in summer.
In the coconut chicken house, there are many ingredients, such as macaroni, diced watermelon, red beans, diced mango . Weapons of summer elimination.
It is said that cinnamon sage seems to be a special item this year. As a pre-service gazpacho, it was deliciously tart and sweet.
Coconut chicken chicken coconut has a gimmick. People are the original flavor Wenchang chicken shaved bones, but also Wenchang free-range ground chicken. Coconut meat with chicken coconut on the table takes 120 days. Guess what it tastes like.
Almost every photo I took a picture with the coconut chicken. Don't underestimate this coconut chicken. It's also a custom alarm clock. When the boneless chicken goes in at the bottom of the coconut water pan, that's when the coconut chicken comes in handy. The three-minute alarm clock starts the countdown.
After three minutes, the chicken is at its best. Remember to eat it while it's hot and tender. Boneless chicken is a real favorite for people with bad teeth like me, and you can eat it with almost no hidden little broken bones. It's so sweet.
While you're munching on the tender and firm chicken, don't forget to serve a bowl of sweet coconut green soup. Of course, this time of year is soul dipping time! In Hainan, vinegar is hardly ever used, more often flavored with lime. Here are nine seasonings to bring out the most unusual flavors you want.
I've heard it's still a secret dip. It seems like the only way to know the flavor is to come and eat it.
Along with the chicken, the sides were great. The beef meatballs were super Q-shaped and had the flavor of Teochew beef meatballs. They were served hot.
The handmade shrimp sliders also tasted great and you could still get the original grains of shrimp inside. Speaking of shrimp, Coconut Chicken also has a specialty snack called Hundred Flowers Fritter! It's a crispy fritter with a slice of shrimp paste sandwiched between it. Oh my gosh, it was so delicious. Super amazing.
Yes, this one was recommended by the clerk right off the bat! Mango nipple cap? Do you know who was on the nipple cap? I was wearing it. The clerk asked me who I would look like on the nipple cap.
Huh? Guns, barely a thought. This drink, not to mention the taste, is full of it.
Maybe I overestimated myself and ordered the last one? Sorry, probably because the chicken coconut was so good. I only had one bite, but it definitely wasn't because it wasn't good.
I've thought long and hard about the Japanese material at Crowne Plaza.
Speaking of going straight back to the hotel from Yalong Bay, this time I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Sanya, which is only one bus stop from the First Market. The hotel is easy to get to anywhere. Luhuitou is nearby, right next to the Sanya Bridge, in the center of town.
The rooms are all regular five-star facilities, and all the hotel rooms that make people comfortable are because of well-matched bedding, no doubt about it. Small refrigerators, safes, desks and sofas are almost standard. The clear glass in the bathroom makes the whole room look bigger.
My room may have been on a higher floor, or the hotel may have done a better job of soundproofing the room, making it virtually undisturbed by the outside world. The bathroom is wet and dry, with a bathtub and three-dimensional shower on the left side.
It was still early when I arrived at the hotel, so I went straight to the hotel for dinner. I read online that they have good Japanese food, so I'll go there tonight.
It is located on the second floor of the hotel. There will be special red lanterns along the way, easily recognizable. Entering the restaurant is very Japanese. Sake and soda are both unique to Japan. The teacher in front of me was making teppanyaki.
The overall environment of the Japanese restaurant is cozy, simple, and empty, and the food is comfortable and stress-free.
The food is ready, first on a cup of freshly squeezed watermelon juice. In this hot Sanya, only juice can quench the thirst.
Japanese food is quite suitable for one person to eat, the portion is small, but very delicate. To start, we were served grilled silver cod and teppanyaki steak. I'm not a big fan of medium rare steaks. Their steak was just the right thickness and it was great. The garlic grilled oysters, as long as they were fresh, stood up to being cooked this way, and it's certainly not the wrong way to go.
Sushi, the best thing about eating Japanese food is the salmon, hence the sashimi platter below. The arctic shellfish was delicious, the salmon was good, and there were three other special sashimi dipped in wasabi. It was really awesome.
The Flower Love was phenomenal. In addition to the bite, it's served with red ginger on the side. The flavor is indescribable but especially refreshing.
The grilled okonomiyaki, which the clerk especially recommended, was still very good.
Drinking in the middle of the night, happy, drunk by the Sanya Bridge.
The night before the end of the four-day, three-night trip to Sanya, it happened to be Tanabata. As a woman going out alone, why not go to a bar for a drink?
There's a Fisherman's Wharf next to the Crowne Plaza, which is the center of your stay.Hidden drunkenness on the App is high on the list, so why not find out?
Because it's so close, I walked over, looked at the navigation, and came to the floor of a building. When I looked up, I saw the Silver Spout sign. I took the elevator up to the second floor and quickly found the Silver Mouth.
Drunk is highly rated on the bar charts in Sanya, and it wasn't worth the effort to make a special trip here. Before entering the bar, there was a wall with all these words revealed by the light, all telling us how nice it is to get on the booze at night.
These short nights are yours, and the best thing about them is getting a little tipsy.
Entering the bar was a long bar filled with people, leaving only one spot on the side. I hurriedly ordered myself a drink. Maybe the city is too lonely, lonely people always go home late, people think they have such a good life in the brightly lit scene.
It was an elegant and beautiful bar, the stars above should be the love of many young girls.
My friend next door had paidja white wine with open water and I ordered a glass of Cavalier. When the wine was served, however, it was anything but. Was it because it was Valentine's Day? And you gave me a rose, which may be increasingly upsetting to those who have a heart.
In other words, wine is a good thing. When you're sad and happy, nothing can stay with you all the time. But wine can.
The little brothers at the bar were carefully picking out their drinks while I kept going to all corners of the bar, only to realize that getting drunk in the daytime is definitely not a bar because there are a lot of tables for eating and looking at the river view. It should be a very comfortable experience.
Cocktails made at the bar. The drunken bar is exceptionally long, estimated to seat 20 people, roughly 2/3 of the length of the bar. the wall of wine at the back is still very nice.
The drink was okay, though. It tasted like chocolate whiskey and was a little on the nose.
While the resident band sang, which was also when I switched drinks, the upbeat tempo of the music caught up with the resident singer's booming vocals, and I couldn't resist switching to Roosevelt No. 10, an abbey beer that's very good in the craft world.
My favorite of the Roosevelt series, the No. 8, was neither too light nor too heavy in flavor, but only the Roosevelt No. 10 was drunk and not bad. Compared to the 8, the 10 would be more mellow and caramelized.
The Silver Mouth is a quiet bar. Occasionally there is some noise when singing, the rest of the time it is relatively quiet. I love sitting at the bar and watching the bartender craft each cocktail. All I have to do is sway to the music.
When you walk in the door, you think of the walls, and the word "lounge" means lazy. Deeply immersed in the world of luxury money, in Sanya completely relaxed, is enough.
As for Sanya, which everyone has heard of, this short trip showed me a different Sanya. First of all, it's too hot, so there are fewer people, which is important. There were no lines to get to any of the attractions.
Sanya is pretty good for taking your time. A beach to spend a day watching the sunrise and sunset.
It is recommended to spend 3-5 days in Sanya. Sanya is not too far from Tianya Haijiao and Nanshan Temple. You can watch the sunset at Sanya Bay. To see the sunrise, you have to come to Haitang Bay and Houhai. Yalong Bay is the most beautiful beach in Sanya. Secondly, Wuzhizhou can be arranged for a day, and so can West Island. Again, it's an off-island, but a different kind of scenery. It is worth a trip. The hotter the summer, the more attractive the sea.
