The Aesthetic Love Story of Exploring Qingshui River

"Peach leaves are sharp, and Liu Yeer is full of sky. Listen to me carefully. " This affectionate lyric comes from a love story widely circulated in old Beijing: exploring the Qingshui River. The story tells a sad love story. At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, the Fireware Camp was a Manchu settlement, where the Song Laosan family lived and made a living by smoking. The old couple had no children, and the baby girl was named Da Lian. When Da Lian was sixteen or seventeen years old, he was really charming, and the matchmaker broke the threshold. But Song Laosan and his wife ate and drank all day and didn't care about their daughter's marriage at all. Later, they met Tong Xiaoliu, a young farmer in our village, and they had a crush on each other. Once Xiao Liu came to Da Lian's house, their secret tryst was discovered by their parents, which caused great disaster. This is humiliating their ancestors and corrupting their families. Da Lian's father whipped Da Lian and gave her a kitchen knife, a rope and a pair of scissors to kill herself. Finally, Da Lian was forced to jump into the Qingshui River at the entrance (Qingshui River is the long river out of the Summer Palace). Xiaoliu heard that Da Lian jumped into the river and died. He came to Qingshuihe with burning paper. One rainy night, he came to pay homage to his sister Da Lian. After the memorial service, poor little six also jumped into the river, and a beautiful love story ended in a sad ending.

? A widely sung Beijing minor has been passed down to this day. A faithful relationship, with Beijing's charming singing voice, vividly explained the ups and downs of their emotional development, and the tragic ending was lamentable.

? Beautiful love has been praised by people since ancient times. A song "Exploring the Qingshui River" is extremely cold and warm in the world, cherishing the pain of passing away and refusing to live alone. It is touching and sad! Alas!
