Most of the actors and actresses who play the U.S. Army in "Transformers 2" are real soldiers who have just returned from overseas battlefields. However, in order to squeeze in a telephoto shot where they couldn't even see their faces, the roof of the prop house was at one point filled with soldiers. Tony was the director of "The Mighty Ducks," "Public Enemies," and the producer of "The King's Heart" and "Death of a Gunman," and he also has a title that has been famous for decades - "Ridley Scott's brother ". Now in his senior years, Tony is still making movies non-stop, including Denzel Washington's appearances in Furious Revenge and Timecode in recent years. Unfortunately, people are more willing to compliment Tony on his "entertaining" films than they are to recognize his films as "blockbusters" when compared to the much older Ridley. This time around, Riding the Subway could very well be an "entertaining blockbuster" all in one. Tony bet everything on Washington and Travolta. He ordered screenwriter Brian Helgeland to make the adaptation "as even as possible". With that tone, it sounds as if Ridley is making American Gangster. In fact, because the police and the bandits are mostly in the subway inside and outside the standoff, the police detective Washington and the gangster Travolta, like the two protagonists of "American Gangster" will eventually "hate each other". One thing to be prepared for, though, is that Quentin has let it slip that because the story is so large, the movie will likely be split into two separate parts, each on its own, similar to "Kill Bill" back in the day.
