Geographical location: Fengcheng is located in the east of Liaodong Peninsula, near the north shore of the Yellow Sea, east longitude123 32'-124 32', north latitude 40 02'-4106'. It borders Benxi Manchu Autonomous County in the north, Zhen 'an District and donggang city in Dandong City in the south, Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County in the east and Liaoyang County and Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County in the west. It is 7 1km from Dandong in the south and 2 17km from Shenyang in the north. Fengcheng has a total area of 55 13 square kilometers.
Topography: Fengcheng area belongs to the mountainous and hilly landform type in Liaodong, and the northern part is eroded structural landform, with an altitude of 1000 meters. The middle part is a hilly region with moderate cutting, which belongs to the stage landform with decreasing structure in turn. From the south to the coast of the Yellow Sea, it gradually becomes an undulating strip plain with a low hill width of several tens of kilometers. It belongs to marine erosion accumulation topography.
