The world is moving so fast, do we need to "slow down"?

The year 2020 is like a dream, the good and the bad, the wonderful and the terrible, the new coronavirus seems to be reminding us of the weakness and ignorance of mankind, you think mankind is in control of the earth, you think mankind is omnipotent, but in fact, there are still so many unknown death threats waiting for us.

Life is unpredictable, we do not know when we will leave this world, before leaving, you know enough? Are you satisfied with your life? Have you lived every day in the present? Ask yourself these questions, and if the current state of life is something you don't want, then try to change it.

I spent a week of fractional time listening to Mr. Ye Wubin's Time Management Advanced - Ten Weeks Training Course, and then spent nearly ten hours organizing, and finally took the essence of the article, organized the essence of this time management article, and added a part of their own thinking, I hope to help you begin to value their time, find their dreams, and through the time management gradually fulfill your dreams.

This article is divided into four main parts, namely: why we need to learn time management, build your dream list, why we need to reflect and how to build your own life reflection system. If you wish to make a change, then sink your teeth into it, read it carefully and start implementing it.

Why do we need to learn time management?

Helps us to start valuing our lives and dreams

"I'm afraid that you'll be busy every day, but in the end, you'll accomplish nothing." Think back to the recent state of your life, do you know what you've been doing every day? The first thing you need to do is to find out what you want to do with your life, and what you want to do with your life. Do you know what kind of life you want?

If a person's time and life can be divided into three levels, the third level is to be busy every day, but in the end, the harvest is very little, not only earn less health is not good. The second level is to be able to balance their work and life, earn no more or less money, and have enough time to do what they want to do. The first level is the highest level, can let other people's time for their own money, have goals, will authorize, money and leisure to do what they want to do. Which level are you at right now?

Let's have a life of excellence without imbalance

What makes a life successful in your mind? The factors that we need to value in our life are money, unemployment, health, friendship, affection, love ...... If we don't organize our time well, we may only be successful in a single area while the rest of our life is a flop.

Let's learn to subtract from life

What is time? Time cannot be open-sourced, increased, or used sparingly. It cannot be replaced with something else, nor can it be lost and regained. Whether you like it or not, time doesn't stop itself for anyone or anything. You want to do too many things, but time is limited, we can not do everything, so the face of daily affairs, we have to according to their own life goals, appropriate subtraction.

Do you really know what your dream is?

Our time management system should be built on three dimensions, one is strategic thinking in life, the second is efficient use of time, and the third is to slow down and take a good rest when it's time to slow down.

First of all, it is the strategic thinking of life. If this step is not done properly, it is like the foundation is not built. And finding your dream is the only way to make a life strategy based on it.

How to find your dream? We suggest that you take the dimensions of "health, family, career, traveling, socializing, learning, wealth, love, leisure, growth, and friends" as the basis, and add or subtract and modify the scope and content of your concerns according to your actual needs.

The first step is to list all your potential dream goals and create your own "dream warehouse". Find a blank piece of paper or open a blank computer file, find a quiet and undisturbed time period, fully explore the ideas in your brain, write down what you are interested in, what you want to do, or what you have to focus on in order to have a better life, and these contents will constitute your dream warehouse.

The second step is to choose some projects and goals at the beginning of the year. Spend a year trying to accomplish the goals step by step, and after a few years of selecting and sifting through them, some of the projects that we really like will stand out, until we have built a system of excellence in our life, which is the strength that will ultimately make our life worth living.

The first step in building a life excellence system is to find our success factor. Three questions to help us find our success factor:

Which of the dream goals you focus on

What are the things that make sense to you?

What do you feel happy when you do?

What is the best thing you do?

This one thing where the three questions intersect is your success factor. When you build and grow around it, your success will snowball.

When we follow the SMART principle (achievable, specific, measurable, relevant to other goals, and time-bound) to continuously accomplish our goals, then we can gradually find our life value and mission.

Making Your Own Life Dream Board

Ronda Byrne said in his world-famous book The Secret: Drawing your mental blueprint is the first step toward realizing your dreams.

There is a kind of nerve cells called "mirror neurons" in the human brain, whose main function is to reflect human behavior, so that human beings can make progress through constant imitation. make progress and growth.

When you have created your "dream ecosystem" and established your "life excellence system", you can start to make your own dream board, put your dreams in a picture, which can be made into your cell phone wallpaper, or put on your computer desktop or stick on your computer desktop, or put on your computer desktop or stick on your computer desktop. You can put it on your computer desktop or on the wall at home, in short, let yourself often see it consciously, which will help you to keep the original intention, to accomplish the high-powered important things every day, and not to be annoyed by all kinds of accidents to take away from the side, this dream board can be updated every year.

Make reflection our habit of life

Socrates said: life without reflection is not worth living. Confucius said: I have three times a day to reflect on myself. You can see how reflection plays an important role in our life. According to the time change, we can divide our reflection time into daily reflection, weekly reflection, monthly reflection and yearly reflection.

The process of reflection is basically divided into the following five steps:

1. What do we expect to happen?

2. What actually happened?

3. What caused the discrepancy?

4. How can it be improved next time?

5. Record comments and suggestions for next time.

How to reflect?

Daily Reflection:

Daily Reflection is a reflection on the actions of the past day while making adjustments to the plan for the next 1-2 weeks.

One day's plan lies in the morning, different countries and different regions of friends can adjust their work and rest according to the local seasons, follow the law of the sun, sunrise and sunset, and all things are silent and sleep with closed eyes. Those who have been getting up early for a long time will realize that morning is a wonderful gift from God.

Reflective journaling should first record the date of the day, the time of sunrise and sunset in your city and the weather, etc., a detailed record of the changes in nature, over time, you will be able to perceive the laws of nature from the daily record, so that you can more accurately perceive the flow of time.

The basic principle of keeping a reflective diary is: first, reflect on your own performance of today's day, recording facts and feelings. Check the degree of realization of today's plan, if you have successfully achieved results, record the harvest and encourage themselves. If you have not successfully realized the plan, record the facts and your feelings, and create again in your brain how you can improve your actions to complete the plan when you encounter similar things in the future. I used to keep my own reflective journal after I woke up early every day to see what I gained yesterday and what I need to improve, and to compare my weekly plan to determine today's goals and plans.

(Daily Reflection Reference Template: Efficient Daily Reflection Nine Grid)

After today's plan has been determined, we need to spend the rest of the day executing it, and implementing the three principles at the action level to maximize our performance:

1, Did I do the important things today? Always follow the principle of "Prioritize the essentials";

2. Did I focus on the essentials when I had high energy? Always implement the principle of "high-energy priorities";

3. Have I done what is important to the best of my ability? Doing it and maximizing it are two completely different concepts.

Life is full of accidents and emergencies. In general, we should try to postpone all non-scheduled events, and if they are not particularly urgent, we should record them and put them on our calendar or list of things to do, and then arrange them later. If it is a very urgent emergency, try to delegate it to someone else, or finish your current business as soon as possible, and then deal with the emergency immediately.

Weekly Reflection:

Weekly Reflection is to reflect on your actions in the past week, and your plans for the next 1-3 months, and to reflect on whether you have accomplished your business according to your predetermined plan.

Seven Steps to Weekly Reflection:

1. Calendar: Check your daily reflection journal and calendar events

If you did a good job of accomplishing your weekly goals in the past week, then you can give yourself kudos, but if you didn't accomplish them, figure out how to improve.

2, list: Reflect on the past week, there is no "big and small", a **** to complete how many important things, and do a few less important, can be delegated to someone else or even can be deleted directly not to do things?

3, high-energy important thing time : reflect on the work of their own in the state of high energy to do important things? Inventory of such high-energy important moment in this week a *** how many hours?

4, happy time : reflect on their own life in some can be done to nourish our hearts and emotions of the action, such as: reading their favorite books, flowers and plants or do some small crafts and so on.

5, Peak Experience: Reflect on the past week, have you ever had a "win" or a particularly happy and happy moment, and how many times have you felt this way?

6, good habits statistics : good habits of the card, 7 days a week to do it perfectly to praise themselves, if not, continue to work hard, and find ways to improve the success rate.

7,Monthly Events and Next Week's Plan: View your calendar and list for the next 1-3 months, add or delete calendar events according to the actual situation, add list events in bulk, break down project events, and arrange next week's plan according to monthly events.

Monthly Reflection

Monthly Reflection is a reflection on your actions in the past month, and your plans for the coming year, and continually adjusting and refining your goals based on changes in the actual situation.

Examine your successes and failures, progress and areas for improvement in the past month. Look ahead to your annual dreams and goals for the current year and review your life in multiple dimensions to see if you are out of balance.

According to your goals and dreams, conduct a multi-dimensional monthly reflection, the following eight dimensions of the case:

(1)Health: health is the foundation of everything, the loss of health, all other things are meaningless. In the dimension of health you can ask yourself: "Is my current state of life good for my health? Do I have the strength and energy to cope with the daily challenges of work and life? Am I sleeping well? Am I eating well? Am I exercising? Am I out of my normal weight range?"

(2)Family: Home is the harbor of our soul, and a harmonious family needs to be managed with care. So at the family level you can ask yourself, "How is my relationship with my family? Is it getting closer and closer, or is it getting colder and colder? Do we have regular family anniversaries or family group activities? How much time do I spend with my family?" Review the warm times and small blessings of your family this month.

(3)EFFICIENCY: Always remember that the ultimate goal of our time management is to achieve a life of excellence without imbalance! So at the level of efficacy you can ask yourself, "Do I have top-to-bottom, near-to-far, dream goals? Do I have a plan of action from near to far, from fine to coarse? Do I focus on things more or for a longer period of time than I used to? Have I used new tools or new ways of thinking to become more effective?"

(4)Wealth: wealth is the necessary foundation for a better life, and more possibilities to choose from. At this level of wealth you can ask yourself, "Have I cultivated my long-term passive income? Do I keep track of my monthly income and expenses? Have I invested my money wisely?"

(5) Career: At this level of career you can ask yourself, "What are my key strengths and abilities when it comes to my career? Do I want to start a business? If I want to start a business, what can I prepare now? If not, how should I plan and develop my career? Where have I progressed in my career in the past month?"

(6)Travel: At the level of travel, borrowing a line from the movie "The Grandmaster": "See yourself, see heaven and earth, and see all living beings" to tell you that, in the world of our ordinary people, travel is undoubtedly the best way to see the world. Traveling is definitely the best way to see heaven and earth in our ordinary world. Measuring the world with your feet is always more real and profound than from books and other people's mouths. You can ask yourself, "What have you done to prepare for this in the past time, which cities or even countries are you going to visit this year, and what time do you plan to go?"

(7)Socializing: Effective socializing allows us to grow, and can even change the trajectory of your life At this level of socializing, you can ask yourself, "How many new friends have I met? How many new friends have I established good long-term communication relationships with? Which friends can bring me learning and growth? And which friends might we have opportunities to work with in the future? How can I effectively manage these strong or weak relationships?"

(8)Learning: Lifelong learning is a good habit that each of us must do, so that our life will progress, otherwise life is like a boat against the current. And there are many different channels for learning, so you can ask yourself, "Do I keep reading? Do I regularly go to various learning events? Do I have trusted mentors and coaches in the key competency areas of my career? Where have I improved myself in terms of learning over the past month?"

Yearly Reflection

Yearly Reflection is a reflection on your key experiences of the past year, and your vision and dreams for this lifetime. Use your vision of your life, the kind of person you are becoming, the kind of life you want to live, etc. to guide your dreams for each year, and make a dream board of your dreams to continually reinforce your determination to achieve your goals.

Drucker pointed out that there is only one way to understand our own strengths, and that is "feedback analysis": no matter what key decisions are made, what key measures are taken, we have to write down the results that we want to see. 9 to 12 months later, we can compare the actual results with the expected results. actual results against the expected results.

Drucker summarized the seven conclusions of the implementation of "feedback analysis":

1, focus on your strengths

2, efforts to enhance your strengths

3, "feedback analysis" will soon be able to find out where people have problems. can find out where people have a tendency to be arrogant at the bottom of the well

4, correct our bad habits

5, be polite, treating people with courtesy is the lubricant of the organization

6, find out what not to do

7, in improving the weaknesses to waste as little energy as possible

direction is really Life is not about how many things you do, it's about doing the important things to the best of your ability. The important things are the things that you can play to your advantage and create value for others. Strengths should be found by applying feedback analysis, and once found, we strengthen it, develop it, and utilize it.

Start changing today, start changing now

The above is about Mr. Ye Wubin's time management advanced - ten weeks training course management of the essence of the content, part of the content added to my thinking slightly changed. In addition, Mr. Ye also shared the wisdom of the East and West on time management from ancient times to the present day, how to use our brain, time management tools to share as well as time-saving information items management techniques. The purpose of these contents is to live in the present moment and keep your life, belongings and documents in order.

Some of my friends may say, what's the point of managing time, managing time itself is a waste of time, what's the point of me doing more? The last thing I want to do is to become a piece of yellow earth. I'm not sure how happy I am with my life, but I'm sure I'm happy with my life, and I'm sure I'm happy with my life. I think Li Jing gave us the answer in the movie "Ne Zha's Magic Boy": "I don't want him to live his life in such a mess". If swiping your phone for dramas really makes you content and happy, you shouldn't be clicking on this article (**** reluctantly). TV dramas are never finished, there's a next one after this one, and our time is never coming back.

An important intersection of the three major philosophies of China is living in the present, and Chaos University's Prof. Lee Sun-Young has devoted a whole series of courses to illustrating the importance of "being in the present".

After reading this article, you can laugh it off, or you can seriously improve your own time management system. How you live today, may be how to live a life, change is not in the future, only in the present, happiness is not in the past, not in the future, only in the present.

Finally, I would like to end today's content with these Buddha's words:

Life is not long, Buddha said four days, spring summer, fall and winter;

A year is not long, Buddha said three days, yesterday, today and tomorrow;

One day is not long, Buddha said two days, the daytime and darkness;

Actually, life is only one day, and that is today.
