Why are there fewer and fewer folk games in rural areas?

I grew up in the countryside. I hope there will be more folk games like beautiful countryside in rural areas, which will not only enliven the amateur cultural life in rural areas, but also promote the development of local sports.

As we all know, spare-time life in rural areas is relatively scarce, especially these folk events. There are almost no other cultural and sports activities except square dance, so in rural areas, except watching TV, I rest early every night.

In fact, there are many sports lovers in the countryside. For example, my brother likes playing table tennis, but in our community, the whole village of 5,000 people doesn't even have a table tennis table. If you want to play, you have to drive to a county town ten kilometers away. Although people have many hobbies, they are all useless.

Some powerful villages here also have their own basketball teams and stadiums, and also organize some related competitions and exchange activities, but for those villages with weak economic strength, there is no such personal interest.

If some table tennis tables and basketball courts can be set up in rural areas, there will certainly be many such sports facilities. With the participation of fans, it can not only keep fit, but also promote the development of local sports. This can also enhance the local popularity and let more people know them and understand them.
