[Interview] Get the offer, share L'Oreal face experience

[Interview] to get the offer, share L'Oreal face

Wednesday to get the L'Oreal Feixi's Offer, by the bamboos entrusted to come up to write "face", a delay of three days, to the bamboos sincerely apologize! I've never written, and I never thought I would write, in fact, I personally feel that the usefulness of the face is not very big, and I've never seen it before, but at least I can make the XDJMs of the University of Trade and Industry a little bit more down-to-earth.

Speaking of O'Reilly, I've never had strong feelings about it before, based on the mere fact that I know it's a multinational company and it seems to be quite bullish, so I'll vote for it. I've never had any strong feelings about it before, based on the mere knowledge that it's a multinational company, and it seems pretty awesome, so I put in my application. On the contrary, the further it goes, the stronger the realization and feeling of it will be.

One side of the well-known "group fight", November 23, 11 am.

I planned to take the train back to my home in the afternoon after the morning interview, so I took a taxi with my laptop and a travel bag to the Saito Plaza. I wore black formal pants, a striped formal top, and a large red trench coat with a nice thin version of the standing material. My attire that day was still rather eye-catching, but personally I felt good and accepted the attention confidently despite the eye-catching. After all, there was no wearing crisp black, and those traditional interview outfits can only make you look more youthful, not mature. I can safely say that for all three of Oleander's contests, the outfits were picked and matched by myself rather than simple suits, and that red trench coat did add a lot of points for me. Here you must pay attention, never wear a neat suit on the inside, outside the casual wear a cotton jacket or down jacket, that very much affect the overall effect, and very unprofessional.

My boss at Siemens once said to me, we work in the world's top 500, learning is how to become more Professional, my understanding, Professional is not just in the work, but also between the hands and feet, treating people temperament. And in the fashion industry like L'Oreal, you should pay attention to it everywhere, and never be too mediocre, too casual.

Initial interview with the same group of 10 people, divided into two groups, the first is a personal introduction, L'Oréal's characteristics: draw a card, according to the picture to introduce themselves, there is no preparation time. The first step is to introduce yourself to L'Oréal, and you'll be able to do it in English or Chinese.

I was very hesitant to see everyone, so I volunteered to be the first to speak. I thought that since I was unprepared, I would be the first to speak. The first thing I did was to draw a water droplet out of the water. I think since it is to associate there is no uniform answer, so I said after a brief self-introduction (do not be too long, all your personal experience has been in the resume, since they chose you will certainly look carefully), this droplet rather than a droplet, rather than diamonds (the shape is indeed very much like diamonds), however, all the gemstones need to be carefully polished and carved in order to reveal the value of the However, all gems need to be carefully polished and carved in order to show their value. Gold shines wherever it goes, and diamonds are even more brilliant and everlasting. I'm not the best, but I definitely have the potential to be the best, so give me a stage and I'll be wonderful. ...... is probably the meaning of this, so don't be modest at this time, just show yourself to the fullest, including showing your self-confidence. Presentation time I chose Chinese, although the study of English, but since there is no provision must be English, why difficult for themselves? I think it's a good idea to have the opportunity to introduce yourself in English, but most of the time, it's just a mistake, because it's a difficult part of the process, and HR is mainly interested in your agility and ability to think outside the box, so there's no need to make a fool of yourself and make it harder for yourself.

Others have drawn the crown in the water, the pacifier on the floor, three-color ice cream, multi-faceted crystal ball, pink palette ...... The girl who drew the palette is very interesting, holding the picture instead of one by one to ask us what is the thing, everyone said palette, and added a variety of qualifiers, my turn here! When I threw my voice out of the two words "rouge", even I was shocked, but think about it is very apt, the so-called front of the people said "colorful palette" is pure nonsense, obviously only pink powder and cream! ...... think, this innovation is also to me added some points.

This is the first time I've seen a company with a color palette, and it's been a long time since I've seen a company with a color palette.

The second session was to complete the project in groups of 5. Let's say you're organizing a year-end dinner for your company, with no other requirements (that's pretty hairy).

Here, it is necessary to discuss the issue of "Aggressive", which has been mentioned in many interviews. I personally believe that in the process of group work, depending on the situation, you need to be an "Aggressive" role. Don't position yourself as "timekeeper" or "leader" beforehand, HR is not stupid. Do not show yourself for the sake of showing themselves, but based on the team's cooperation to make the appropriate positioning; at the same time, there is no need to take the initiative to say "I'll give everyone time," it is simply premeditated to play the fool. If there is a very positive person, you listen to him more, if he is not right, you have to be brave to put forward their own improvement. "Listening, thinking, exploring and compromising are all essential, in no particular order of importance. That's what teamwork is all about!

I came up first and said, "'Annual Dinner' must not be a simple meal to exchange feelings! We have to summarize the results of the last fiscal year, make employee awards, and at the same time look forward to the new year's work, invite the company's important customers, and establish a good business development vision for the new fiscal year." Since what I had learned from my six-month internship at Siemens was very substantial, I spoke with more vigor. This positioning was immediately 'supported' by everyone and many valuable comments were made. We didn't have a timekeeper in our group at all, because it wasn't necessary, and the Leader wasn't me, and I voluntarily relinquished the Leader's role at a later stage, because everyone was brilliant and the ideas were all very effective. We also had a very clear division of labor, with me, as the final wrap-up, having to come up with the financial budget expenditures for the entire dinner. With limited time to prepare, I was not able to draw the design of the venue on paper, so I just copied a pen and drew it out as I talked. Our presentation was complete, well-packaged, informative and functional. The actual proof is that we are the professionals.

The rival group designed a costume party, more focused on the spirit of the delivery and details of the introduction, so it seems that we have already won. As it turns out, there were two of us who made it to the second interview: me and a girl from Peking University; and one from the other group: a girl from Peking University, who was the only one whose English presentation wasn't screwed up.

The face time is 1 hour.

At noon, everyone went to the McDonald's next to eat lunch.

This time I realized that the second interview was scheduled in the afternoon, and then really half an hour later I received a phone call informing me that the interview would be held at 3:20 p.m. My boyfriend quickly went to the Beijing West Railway Station to return the ticket and exchange it for a new one, and finally changed the train ticket to 6:30 p.m. at 3:00 p.m., so he came back to Saitai Plaza to find me, and the interview scheduled for 3:20 p.m. was delayed until 4:00 p.m. before it started.

The second round of interviews: one-on-one.

Secondly, try to listen to the examiner's limited language, these will be the direction you need to focus on when answering, each of his words will be with a certain orientation, we should understand the purpose of his asking these questions, and casting their favor.

Third, don't be passive like squeezing toothpaste to answer the questions, but take the initiative to introduce yourself, and the positive attitude of following the trail is the most desirable. After the examiner gave the topic we expanded it and purposefully developed it in the direction favorable to ourselves. We satisfy his curiosity and at the same time change the subject to something we know well. Don't leave too much time for the examiner to ask questions, it's better for you to control the arrangement of time, otherwise he will probably suddenly think of a tricky question for you to answer, or casually copy a magazine for you to analyze the design of the advertisements inside (this kind of situation I heard a Tsinghua graduate student's sister complained helplessly when I was in the third interview in Shanghai, but I didn't encounter it personally).

Fourth, do not think that too much school minutiae, perhaps in your opinion is very important, but into society you will find that the campus inside the small wind and rain, the experience of those trivial things is really in the play house only, since into the L'Oréal two face, we should be outstanding on campus, you experience those student activities ah, we have experienced, so Try to find a few of their own flashpoints to prepare, the other pass by, or not mentioned at all reflect the maturity of their own experience. The first thing you need to do is to get your hands on a new computer, and you'll be able to get your hands on a new computer, and then you'll be able to get your hands on a new computer, and then you'll be able to get your hands on a new computer, and then you'll be able to get your hands on a new computer.

I personally introduced my six-month work experience at Siemens, how I added value to my personal talents on the basis of the original business, further expanded and improved the original work, and established a good customer relationship, while emphasizing the embodiment of the sense of personal responsibility and work attitude.

I never think of myself as an intern during my internship. Otherwise, there will be the following two results: First, you are lower than others in everything, from their own psychology, they feel that they are a trainee, and simply can not find that "sense of responsibility of the master". Secondly, others will only treat you as an intern, and you will not be able to ask your colleagues to cooperate with you in many tasks. If you can't accomplish something, don't just go to your superiors and use your power to put pressure on others, but find the right outlet to solve the problem yourself. The voice is loud and clear to tell them: you are so-and-so department responsible for so-and-so affairs of the XXX, now encounter problems need to cooperate with them fully.

At the time, the company was involved in a small internal struggle, a lot of feelings, targeted at the same time with some reservations to the HR roughly introduced, obviously than other simple internship experience is slightly better. Other honors in Beijing TV, China Education Television, and various activities on campus were not mentioned at all, and some were just skimmed over. josephine was very interested and asked me why I didn't talk about these work experiences, and I said that in comparison to my work experience at Siemens, I was very interested. I said that in comparison, six months at Siemens was the real work experience, and that was it. The rest of it was just to make the resume look good, but it didn't really mean anything, it was just a way to expand my network (laughs).

Fifth, since the one-on-one, it is an equal conversation relationship, not too low, not too high is the most important, do not have the illusion that the examiner is above, so that the conversation can be the best effect, in the face of some of their own unprepared for the problem or sudden questioning to be able to improvise. Imagine that when you argue with your parents about something at home, you are always fluent in your language and quick in your thinking. The same applies to interviews.

In the meantime, Josephine asked me about my knowledge of Feixi, and I confessed that I had just learned today that Feixi had been acquired by L'Oreal. But during the conversation, some of my personal entrepreneurial ideas coincided with the spirit of Feixi.

At the end of the interview, Josephine gave a short summary,

she smiled and said: "We had a great conversation, I like you a lot, but I don't see your Strong Motivation for L'Oréal."

I smiled back and replied. But I am a carrot, into a pit, honestly grow roots, do not like frequent changes, change itself brings the cost of waste, each employee is leaving with a lot of important responsibilities, even if it is a change should wait until a certain achievement to leave without shame, otherwise it is against my principles of human behavior."

Josephine laughed again, "If you make it to the third interview, please note that you will be interviewed by a brand manager, who will probably ask you some more specialized questions, and you should also do more Homework and research online! I expressed my thanks and assured her that I would do enough work, and said, "See you in Shanghai!" I got up and left.

One thing I'd like to tell you about the second interview is not to aimlessly make small talk with everyone in the time before you're ready to go in. Personally, I hate the kind of surface of the eight sides of the activist, who all know the presence of all of you are competitors, then show too much affection rather false, and not much fun, and do not try to get out of each other's mouths out of the words, we are all smart people. Some students will say a few words of flattery, such as "your school students good English ah", "your school how how ah" cloud ......, I frankly accept praise, but never blindly! I'm open to compliments, but never blindly praise others. It's better to do less ass-kissing, so let's take the strength to speak. If you are simply talking about the school, our school reputation is obviously not as high as Peking University and Tsinghua University. But the level of students is not necessarily worse than them, on the contrary, and some of the so-called Peking University and Tsinghua University students or graduate students to talk a few words, I clearly feel their own strong advantage, there is no need to be presumptuous. If you don't want your mood to be affected by a bunch of chattering rivals waiting for interviews, you can simply keep quiet, sit aside and read, and remain "mysterious" on the line.

This is my second interview experience. After 10 days, Tuesday afternoon I received a phone call from Shanghai, notify me of December 10, 2 pm to Shanghai three, that time my Zhejiang Shenzhou line cell phone number has just been changed to Beijing Dynamic, although the phone notification of L'Oreal Beijing personnel, but because it is received by a small LINK, so it seems that the Beijing HR did not pass the information to the Shanghai personnel should be turned out of my resume to find out, presumably after for the L'Oreal Beijing personnel, but also for the L'Oreal Beijing personnel. I'm not sure if I've ever been to the L'Oréal China office, but I'm sure I've been to the L'Oréal China office.

I'm not going to say too much about the interview here, because it's the same one-on-one, just facing the brand manager of Feixi. I'm a very lazy person, but before the final side or worship Josephine's mandate to do a lot of homework, including for the whole acquisition process of understanding, Ms. Jin Yuxi's own attitude, before and after the change of spokesperson, from the public brand to high-end brand transformation, brand spirit and the company's high hopes and so on ... ... also includes the former, current, and former, and the company's high hopes. ... and also the style of the former and current brand managers.

I finally realized that the research is not to cope with the interview, but to explore the company more y, and to understand whether the position is suitable for me or not. After doing a lot of searching and reading, I finally realized that Featherlite, a high-end newcomer in transition, would bring great rewards for my career development by accumulating unattainable experience, because change always creates opportunities. During the Doing homework period, I had several deep ****ings, empathizing with Mr. Chen Xueqin's helplessness and Ms. Jiang Qiaoling's ambition. I think this will be a new world waiting to be developed, like Josephine said, this is a mission of L'Oreal people, women all over the world have the right to use China's Feixi, and L'Oreal is using specialized brand building concepts, specialized sales team and sales network in the realization of this international mission.

"Acquisition of a variety of strange but representative of the shape of the culture of the brand, to create a set of French-style elegant packaging, and then pushed to have different delicate needs of the market segments, in a variety of brands in the precise market positioning and different channels, L'Oréal can be different images to contact different customer groups with great diversity. Instead of giving the impression of imposing Western aesthetic sensibilities on the people of the world." This definition is very accurate.

My plane was scheduled to take off at 9am on the 10th, but in time for the first heavy snowfall in Beijing, almost all of the planes from all over the country were delayed, and didn't slowly leave the runway until after 12:00 p.m. I had previously called Shanghai to explain the situation, and asked them to make alternative arrangements for all of the Beijing interviews, since it was expected that all of the Beijing students would be on the same plane to Shanghai.

I walked into the L'Oréal interview room at 5:30pm, and everyone was working in an orderly fashion, so our interview was just one of many that were going on quietly. I didn't feel nervous, sitting on the sofa, flipping through the company's internal magazines, and chatting with a few students from Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Nanjing University.

Because the last student interview took so long, all the students waiting for their interviews kept complaining, saying that today was a bad day, and that it was not a good day to travel because of the snow.... ...When it was my turn to walk into the office, there wasn't much time left, and we had to catch a 9 p.m. flight back to Beijing, so as soon as I walked in, Ms. Jiang Qiaoling told me, "I'm sorry, but we only have 20 minutes. ......

When you're in a situation like this, don't panic, and don't speak incoherently. Don't be incoherent. It's impossible to be facetious and pontificating, so make sure you pick up the key points, cut out all the unnecessary nonsense, and cut to the chase. If your topic is strong enough to attract people, the interviewer will not interrupt you, the key is how to mobilize her interest.

In the end, Ms. Jiang's comment said, "You are very smart to draw me in such a limited time, cover almost all the key points, and show me fully your professionalism and talent."

So, there are times when a disadvantage can be equally converted into a favor. I'm pretty sure I left no worse impression on Ms. Chiang than the last student I interviewed, but on the contrary perhaps more impressive.

She finally gave me a business card and said, "I'll give you a chance to ask me a question.

I asked a question that I had been thinking about for a long time on the plane: "Why did L'Oreal ask for a condition attached to the acquisition agreement that 'Ms. Jin Yuxi is not allowed to work in the cosmetics industry in the future'?" I said, "Ms. Jin Yuxi is regarded as a milestone of fashion leadership for Chinese women who rose in the wave of reform and opening up in the 80s and 90s. This legendary woman and her legendary brand Yuxi Cosmetics are inextricably linked, so how can the two be separated? Feixi without Jin Feixi will not lose its soul?"

This question is actually considered a rather poignant one, and totally a must-ask query for me since the beginning. In Ms. Jiang's answer, I found that the question was really hit by my words, L'Oreal did have some friction with Jin Yuxi in the early stage of the acquisition, but now the friction has been eliminated, and the relationship between the two is gradually warming up, and at the same time will be more and more close, and all the later transformation attempts will slowly return to Yuxi's original color. I feel relieved ......

Before sending me out the door, Ms. Jiang Qiaoling said goodbye to me, "I hope very, very much that I can work with you in the future in the Feixi team. I smiled and said "I hope we see you next time." And then almost added, I'm from the University of International Business and Economics! Oh~~

The 9 o'clock plane was late to take off at 11 o'clock, and it was 2 o'clock in the middle of the night before I got back to the dormitory. Everyone kept complaining before getting on the plane, saying that the company should have arranged accommodation for one night and changed the ticket ...... I just listened and didn't say anything. I think, you have to understand what you are here to do, complain if useful I'll complain with you, the whole airfare is reimbursed by the company, it's hard not to do a few hours of the train back to Beijing you intend to do it? If it is to travel, you can go to complain about the company, but you are here to interview, not to say that the final can not be employed, we now have no qualifications to ask the company. If you really feel that you can't tolerate this company's "non-people-oriented" way of working, then just tell them that they've fired them and don't send you any more offers. Complaining unnecessarily is childish and ridiculous in my opinion.

On December 13th, two days after returning from Shanghai, I got a call from Josephine, who smiled and said, "Guess why I'm calling you?" So I got a verbal offer from L'Oreal Feixi, and she asked me if I had any other offers in hand. I was honest: "No, I got one and that was enough. After L'Oreal started the interview, I didn't put in any other offers." I was really honest. I really have to be very honest, too honest ......>____<

In addition, also looked at a lot of online, BBS on the negative discussion of L'Oreal, not I got the Offer on the narrow-minded feelings, I just want to say that the tree beckons the wind, the company's development to a certain stage, once the organization miscellaneous I just want to say that when a company develops to a certain stage, once the organization is very complicated and has a lot of people, there will be all kinds of things that are difficult to do. Specifically to the complexity of interpersonal relationships this situation, if as a school out of the door ready to meet the challenges of the community of working people are still tired to cope with or try to avoid these words, it can only show that you are not yet ready to enter the workplace. The difference between society and the campus I have realized, and therefore also ready to meet those things that are not what we want, all we can do is to redouble our efforts, if you do not want to be, to try to change.

And the crowd, three people into a tiger, a lot of things may be just the tip of the iceberg, a person's sense of disillusionment in the network, the public opinion of the crowd will be infinitely expanding, several times out of the fact that the situation, and ultimately cause a general understanding of the bias. I'm just saying that there is this possibility, of course, the first time in the world or careful as well, a lot of friends to remind me of my friends I am very grateful, but there is a phrase I agree with, that is, "the pony across the river" reasoning, to do anything, they first go to try the depth of the water, and then decided to trips not to trip the river ... ...

I didn't expect to write so many words, only one's own words, without any authority, the success of the face of a sure win in our school sea to go, just by me alone here to comment on it is difficult to convince the crowd. I would like to wish all the brothers and sisters of the job-seeking army of the University of Trade and Industry to find a satisfactory job, a little frustration in front of you is nothing, anything that happens is its own reason, it's a blessing in disguise. Love for a book, a class, a person, or even a company can be cultivated.

Lastly, I would like to thank my boyfriend for his absolute support despite the fact that the job is in Shanghai, his home is in Beijing, and his job is in Beijing. He waited for me for a whole day for the second interview, ran to the train station with his bag to change the ticket, and solved all the difficulties for me in order to make me feel at ease for the interview. I've been looking for a lot of articles about the company's reviews before I flew to Shanghai, and without those, I couldn't have gotten an Offer. What I'm most moved by is that he's currently trying to find a chance to work in Shanghai as well.......

As we leave the school, a lot of lovers are going to be faced with choices, and if there's one beside you, it's the one that's going to be able to support you. If you have a person by your side who can support you unconditionally, sensitive topics are not involved in the sensitive period, and only wholeheartedly considerate of you, please cherish and love him/her.

A big wooden desk has always been my wish. You can put a computer on it, a CD player, speakers, a black iron desk lamp with a burgundy fabric shade, lots of wooden picture frames, CDs stacked in piles and stacks, books and notebooks. Including pencils, rulers, crayons, erasers teacups, perfume, candlesticks, incense burners, put fruit on the disk ...... all the mess, and orchids and cactus.

It's dawn and it's time for me to go to bed ......
