The wave of aging has come with such ferocity that it has completely exceeded my imagination.
At the beginning of the year, I enrolled at the University of the Elderly to continue to mingle in the photography class; on that day, the sight of the enrollment made me think of those miserable days when people lined up to grab food. Despite the fact that these elderly people were crowded into piles, they were still surprised by the large number of people who had signed up for the program. Seeing so many people crowded together, I decided to give up. Suddenly, I was greeted by a lady, who turned out to be a former colleague, who said to me cheerfully, "I'm not going to work either. To come and learn calligraphy and painting." I had heard that she loved to write and paint when she was young. She even asked for my cell phone number, saying that she would join me at the tea house sometime to exchange English with someone. I left the registration office and went to Mr. He's house, not far from the university, to chat. At Mr. Kazu's house, I received a call from the enthusiastic lady. She said that she had gotten an enrollment form for me, so I could enroll without waiting in line. When I got the enrollment form, I saw that it was for the beginner's class. This year, because too many people had signed up to learn photography, it was divided into two classes: the improvement class and the beginner's class. I thought, "Beginner's class, improvement class, or even advanced class, it's just a name to hang out and get by". I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do that, but I think I'm going to be able to do it.
I was in the beginner's class for a while, and in the advanced class for a while. Those who know me don't know me, can't understand; how a moment to see me, a moment and not see me. Last month, the University of the Elderly organized us to Xundian Slate River scenic spots to play, I and the primary classmates, to the Slate River to go. Later, the students of the improvement class went to Shilin Changhu. Afterwards, the improvement class of students asked me; why not go to Changhu?
Photography classes at the University of the Elderly, all in one classroom, just a different class time. On Friday mornings, the beginner's class runs from 8:20 a.m. to 9:40 a.m., while the improvement class runs from 9:50 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. In this way, people in the two classes met each other at the beginning and end of class. In this way, everyone gradually became familiar with each other.
Half a month ago, the two classes decided to go to a place called "Luolong Park" in Chenggong New District. The two classes met in a crowded classroom and began to agree on how to go. In the midst of the chaos, an old comrade, Yang, who used to be the chairman of the labor union of a factory, had already written on the blackboard how to get to Luolong Park by bus and transfer from different places. I hurriedly used my cell phone to write down the stations and buses I needed to transfer to.
That day, early in the morning, I left home and headed for Luolong Park. It took an hour and a half, and I finally reached Luolong Village. Mr. Xu, the teacher of the photography class, was already waiting for us there. I was the last one to arrive.
Unexpectedly, Luolong Park is not small. Because it is located in a new area and it is not a weekend, the park, which is seen by the lake, looks bigger than Cuihu Park, with many trees. In the water, water lilies and some I can not name the flowers and plants are exactly flourishing. Someone said: "here than Shilin Changhu beautiful."
Unfortunately, the clouds were too thick and there were a few drops of rain. The effect of photography is naturally not good. The park is so big that it is almost full of old people from our photography class. A junior classmate. He is a big man from the north. When I entered the park, I saw him alone in a hurry, I do not know what to go to find someone. Later. We left the park to go home and sat together on the bus, so we chatted. The northern man surnamed Liu, is a Jilin. Before coming to Kunming, he worked in the Second Bureau of China Railway, working in the north for many years. Later, the construction of the Nankun Line, he came to Yunnan. He worked in the command department of the NKL. I then casually asked it, when the Nankun Railway Command, the commander-in-chief of Mr. Liu Deshu, is not the author of the novel "old disabled travel" Liu E's grandson. Mr. Liu pondered seriously and answered me, "It is the descendant of Liu E."
Mr. Liu told me that he entered Luolong Park and did not see anyone he knew, so he asked around where Luolong Park was. Later, someone said to him, "Aren't you already in the park?" Originally, I entered the park to see him in a hurry to meet someone that moment, he was looking for photography classmates ah! It's no wonder he doesn't like to talk to people in photography class. Always come and go in a hurry.
Mr. Liu apparently noticed the photos I took on my trip to Tibet. He asked me how to have fun in Tibet. I then described the route of my Tibet trip to him. He worked in Xining. Mr. Liu wanted to take a train to Tibet to see it, and his desire was definitely stronger than others. Perhaps his coming to the photography class was the first step in realizing his trip to Tibet.
Turns out, Mr. Liu is a talkative guy. The young people beside us must have felt a little annoyed as we talked loudly in the car about the places we dreamed of going. It's hard for them to understand that older people, who are approaching the finish line of their lives step by step, they, too, have had dreams as beautiful as flowers in this vast land.
The beautiful new scenery of Luolong Park, in the lens of our camera, is nothing more than a lake, a piece of tree, a few waterfowl, a few flowers. For me, it is more interesting to know someone as interesting as Mr. Liu.
I wish Mr. Liu an early success in his trip to Tibet!
