Jingle Bell Rock
Lyrics excerpt
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Bells ring, bells ring, bells rock and rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun
The jingle bells have begun to hop
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bell rock
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rockJingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air
In the bitterly cold air
What a bright time, it's the right time
How happy time, it's the right time

Silent Night
"Silent Night" is a song written in 1816 by Father Joseph Mohr, a priest in a small country church in a small part of Austria, with the lyrics written by Franz Gruber, an obscure local music teacher .
The story goes that Father Mohr asked Mr. Gruber to compose the song he had written for him with a guitar accompaniment in case of emergency because the organ in the small church had broken down. The sheet music was later brought out by the organ repairman, and the song became known to the outside world. The song quickly spread and became a favorite. Today it is almost the official "holiday song" of Christmas, translated into many languages.
